Nice apartment in a great location to see Istanbul by foot
Pros:

Very friendly and nice owner. Room, bathroom and balcony were all clean and in good condition. The location is really great. There's tons of options to get your meals very close by, also there's a small shop right next door where you can buy water and such, a supermarket is a 1min walk away. The balcony was overlooking a nice little park. It has sun in the afternoon and evening so it's nice to sit there and relax after coming home from your sightseeing tours. The whole atmosphere in the area was nice and peaceful. The apartment is in a great spot: in our three days that we stayed there we could walk everywhere (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Great Bazaar, Harbor for Bosporus cruises, etc.). From the airport, just take bus HVIST-11 all the way to Sultanahmed and you can just walk from there to the apartment in 10min. If we come back to Istanbul some day we would love to stay there again.

Cons:

Soap and shampoo dispensers in the bathroom were empty. We didn't ask to fill them up since we had our own stuff but that's really pretty much the only thing I can think of. Could be that it gets quite hot in the room during summer (but there's an A/C in the room) - we visited in May and the big windows were perfect to get the room warmed up by the sun as the outside temperatures were still a bit chilly.

Pros:

Grande chambre, excellente propreté, en face d'un parc, proche de sultanhamet mais au calme, rue animée avec restaurants à 5mn. Gentillesse du propriétaire et de son frère. Tramway un peu éloigné, environ 10mn de marche et assez pentu pour s'y rendre. pas de réception à proprement parlé mais la supérette du frère du propriétaire située juste à côté permet de demander des choses et nous avions également le carte du propriétaire.

Outstanding Service from Owner
Pros:

The Owner of the hotel is the best host I ever have in all of my trips, really kind and always willing to help! The rooms are soundproof in front of a park, is first time in my 5 trips to Istanbul old town that I could finally sleep, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

La vacanza perfetta!

Un piccolo hotel super accogliente, con un proprietario che ha un sorriso che ti fa sentire a casa!
La camera davvero bella, con tutti i confort, in una zona tranquilla ma vicinissima a piazza Sultanamet e piena di ristoranti dove mangiare o prendere qualcosa take away.
Insomma non potevamo scegliere di meglio, davvero tutto perfetto!
E Istanbul è semplicemente magnifica!

Eray was kind and willing to assist us with everything.
I’ve been to Istanbul before, and I can say that I’ve never had such a great experience.
The room was spotless—if anything, the photos don’t do it justice. Overall, the cleanliness, hospitality, and management couldn’t have been better.
I highly recommend it with confidence. As for the location, it’s an excellent neighborhood, within walking distance of everything.

Pros:

Very kind and attentive host. Very comfortable location for exploring Istanbul historical center, most of the famous landmarks are walking distance away. The restaurants nearby are very good. Our room was comfortable and quiet.

This is not a negative, neither was a problem for us but needs to be mentioned, some people with moving difficulties may find this information useful - there is no elevator. Take it into account if you choose a high floor room.
