A small hotel with basic facilities and it looks very old fashioned. The front desk staff are very helpful in arranging local car and intercity bus tickets There is not much eateries nearby but you can find a lot of street foods and fruit stalls from the afternoon. There is also a Aeon Supermarket within few minutes walk. However, one bad thing is there are some loudspeakers in that area and they are playing loudly in the mid night and I can hear some of the noises inside the room.

The Chinese style breakfast is good, the room is clean and comfortable, the location of the hotel is good which is near the market and supermarket.

Most of the staff could not be bothered to help figure out a list office or get a cab. the laundry service was nice and breakfast was good, but this place is too rough around the edges for the staff NOT to be friendly..

The staff here was very helpful. Amenities were good. Breakfast was okay but more for an Asian palette. There was construction but if you didn't see it, you wouldn't know. The room was really nice, but the AC was centralized, so it never got really cool. One TV channel had good movies in the room. We found several appetizing restaurants within five blocks in all price ranges. Overall, we were pleased and for the price, would definitely stay here again.

Extremely friendly staff, particularly on front desk. Not very clean, particularly the floors in room, halls and stairs. Breakfast was acceptable.

It is a nice hotel at reasonable price. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was lovely, a bit small but monern and very clean. The breakfast was amazing, it's buffet so you could have as much as you liked.

A centrally located hotel with friendly helpful staff.
Hotel in poor condition. We had to have a bucket under our sink as the pipes were leaking. Everywhere in the hotel is shabby and dirty.
Breakfast was one of the worst we have had over the 18 days we have been in Myanmar so far.

The service at the front desk is great, very interested on answering all our questions. The hotel is very comfortable for the night rate they ask.

Clean, nice staff easy walk around

The hotel staff were super polite and helpful. Probably the best service staff that Ive seen in asia, I was really impressed and felt welcomed all the time. The room was adequate but the wifi was very unreliable. I used 3g cell data the majority of the time. This may be a common problem through out myanmar.

I'm so impressed with the level of service we received. We were lucky enough to get to stay here. My husband fell ill on our travels and was in and out of the hospital, Kaung Myint Hotel went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The hotel owners and employees even came to visit us in the hospital to make sure they we had everything we needed. Truly grateful to have been staying with them. The hotel was clean, had a wonderful bed, and the air con worked well. Breakfast was great with English and local options. Again, the staff really made our stay by being willing to help in every way possible. Bonus at this hotel, great English spoken!
