Pros:

Ausstattung ist gut ,es gab Kaffee auf dem Zimmer leider keine Milch oder Milchpulver für so ein Hotel ist das ein Unding. Ansonsten sehr freundlich

Als erfahrener Hoteltester mit langjähriger Praxis in der Bewertung von 4-Sterne-Etablissements kann ich das Best Western Plus Delta Park Hotel Mannheim nicht empfehlen – es erfüllt die Kriterien dieser Kategorie nicht.
Die gastronomischen Angebote sind stark eingeschränkt: Das Restaurant bedient ausschließlich Frühstücksgäste, ein vollwertiger Betrieb fehlt vollständig. Die Bar war während meines Aufenthalts aus angeblichen Osterfeiertagsgründen geschlossen und soll üblicherweise nur wenige Stunden täglich geöffnet sein – ein Mangel, der nach Hotelstars-Union-Standards unzulässig ist .
Die Ausstattung hinkt hinterher: Die Minibar war bei Ankunft leer und blieb unbefüllt.
Besonders problematisch war die Zimmerzuweisung: Trotz bestätigter Buchung einer Premiumkategorie erhielt ich zunächst ein qualitativ unterlegenes Zimmer. Den gebuchten Standard erreichte ich erst nach 29 Stunden, am 04.04.2026 um 21:30 Uhr. Solche Verzögerungen sind für professionelle Reisende inakzeptabel.
Mein Fazit: Das Hotel verspricht mehr, als es hält – eine systematische Prüfung offenbart klare Defizite.

Pros:

Die Nähe zur Stadt war super, das Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich.

Cons:

1. Die Zimmer schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Möbel schon sehr abgewohnt. Was uns eigentlich nicht stört, aber für ein 4 Sterne Haus nicht tragbar ist.

Das gleiche gilt fürs Bad, alles da was man braucht, Fön.... aber leider auch sehr abgewohnt.

2. Frühstück : angegeben von 7-10 Uhr, waren um 7:30 im Raum, es war nicht komplett und total lieblos angerichtet ( Wurst 8 scheiben gemischter Aufschnitt wie bei den abgepackten Ausschnitten einfach so auf den teller drauf ) ...keine Milch zum Müsli, wurde auch ohne nachfragen nicht gebracht, ebenso Saft.
Für mich gehören Gurkenscheiben oder Tomaten mit dazu, aber nichts davon da. Wir waren wirklich enttäuscht, wir reisen viel und selbst in einem 2 Sterne Hotel hatten wir liebevoller gestaltete Frühstücke.
So etwas geht gar nicht in einem 4 Sterne Haus.

3. Am nächsten Tag hatten wir gedacht, da sich am Vortag mehrere Gäste über das Frühstück beschwert hatten, das wir nun ein vernünftiges Frühstück bekommen.
Obwohl wir das Frühstück gebucht und bezahlt hatten, teilte man uns in der Früh als wir zum Frühstück gehen wollten mit, das die Küche heute geschlossen ist und es gab kein Frühstück.

Wie gesagt, gebucht, bezahlt und nix bekommen, das ist ein absolutes NO-GO.

Sehr zentrale Lage des Hotels. Alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

Cons:

Nicht gefallen hat mir das Frühstück, bei weitem keine 4 Sterne würdig. Am zweiten Tag hat man das Frühstück einfach abgesagt , obwohl es gebucht und bezahlt war. Erstz gab es keinen, geht garnicht.

Buche ich gerne wieder
Pros:

Das Zimmer war wie erwartet, geräumig, sauber und ruhig. Das Frühstück war gut und reichlich. Würde ich so wieder buchen. Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Cons:

Soweit war alles okay. Die Garage ist etwas eng und für eine Nacht recht teuer.

Pros:

tolle junge Frau an der Rezeption. Sie hat uns auf Nachfrage noch Wasserkocher, Kaffee, Tee und Tassen für unser Zimmer zusammengesucht und gegeben, da diese Dinge gefehlt hatten.

Fehlender Wasserkocher etc.

The room is large and the decor is actually nice. Breakfast was brilliant, the real highlight, and the only thing that would bring me back. Staff were genuinely friendly.
Got it on the cheapest rate. For that money, it works.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
