Pros:

The location

Cons:

First the staff is rude as hell .. the room didn't have the walk n shower like it shows n the pictures my toilet seat fell off on me and I hit the floor it was a whole mess and the breakfast wasn't what it was supposed to be smh will not be coming back

Pros:

I liked the breakfast area and main lobby but it was technically a different hotel. Very weird

Cons:

Lighting in the hotel was weird. Dents in stuff. Had to basically walk a 10 minute maze of 3 different elevators and winding hallways to get to our actual room.

Cons:

The air conditioner hummed loudly throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. The next morning, we reported the issue to the manager, who apologized for the inconvenience and assured us that our payment would be refunded within three days. However, it has now been over a month since our stay, and we have yet to receive the refund.

In addition, only $100 of our $200 security deposit was returned. The remaining $100 was withheld as an unexplained fee. I contacted the property to ask for clarification, but I never received a response.

Holiday inn Austin
Pros:

We had an amazing trip to this hotel in May. Everything was seamless from check in to check out. We arrived early on in the day, the room wasn’t ready but that wasn’t a problem, there was somewhere for us to leave our case so we could go out.

The pool area was a wonderful touch to end the hot afternoons after a day of exploring.

The room was always clean and well looked after by the staff. My only complaint about the room was how loud the air con was when it was starting up. It wasn’t a constant stream of aircon it switched its self on and off. So when kicking back in, it wasn’t very loud.

Breakfast was great, small amount of options which I personally like and reduces waste.

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to everything really. 6th street is a stones throw away.

All in all we had a great stay here and I would highly recommend it.

Pros:

I liked how clean it was, not just in the room but in the hallway, lobbies and elevators. Decent view and smelled nice. Clean bedsheets and towels.

Cons:

The layout of the hotel is like a maze. There are two hotels but one lobby. And you have to take like three different elevators just to get up to where the rooms are. It said there was breakfast but when I went to the breakfast area there was only a vending machine and a coffee maker. And the QR code taped to the desk in the room said that they weren't doing food orders

Pros:

I liked the room temperature.

Cons:

the bed was not very comfortable. The hotel seemed to not have AC in some parts. The two hotels in one was confusing. Was not aware of $50 parking and $100 security hold.
