Edelweiss Resort

Mirissa is a popular area 3 hrs south of Colombo airport. Bed was comfortable. The property was down a narrow alley on a rocky no swim beach. The pool was green, in need of a good cleaning and Chem treatment. The towel rack in our room was broken and the shower pressure was 2/10. The staff were pleasant but ill equipped. For the price we expected much more.

Friendly staff. Good food. Pleasant outlook and you can walk along the sand but not swim due to the rocks. No housekeeping in rooms. No kettle. Overall needs some maintenance and a few more lounge chairs. Biggest problem is that it is quite isolated. You need to get a tuk tuk into Mirissa. Bit hard to find down a narrow laneway barely wide enough for car. They will arrange some tours for you and tuk tuks if needed.

Pool was good , food excellent, staff very attentive but no beach just reefs all along the frontage

From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel very comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and polite. The pool area is clean and a good place to chill and the sea is just a few steps away. With a 5 minute walk along the beach, you can enjoy the sunset at the fabulous coconut tree hill.

I decided to book 6 extra nights, rented a scooter and used edelweiss as s base to explore the south coast from.

I would totally recommend this place to anyone.

大通りから小道を歩くので、子ども2人(3歳1歳)連れでは少し大変でしたが、着いてからは快適！
プールからビーチに直結しているのを知らなかったので嬉しい驚きでした。(岩場なので海水浴は出来ませんが子どもが足をつけたり貝拾いをするのには最適です)
そして期待していなかったからか？(笑)食事が美味しかった。
1泊でしたが夜もチェックアウトして昼もホテルで食べました。
のんびりした雰囲気で素敵な宿でした。

Really nice hotel with super friendly staff. A little bit far from the main beach but definitely worth it. Nice pool, big room, and an exciting jungle path to Mirissa beach. I wish i can stay at this hotel again in the future!

Fint og trivelig lite sted. Det er dessverre ikke mulig å bade på stranden, men kort tuktuk tur til mirissa beach. Hjelpsomme og vennlig personale. God frokost.

Rooms are a good size , the pool is nice with the hammocks being a nice touch

We stayed for 3 nights and didn’t have our room cleaned/bins emptied. Mosquito net on the bed was good. Breakfast was good.

God værdi for pengene. En kort gåtur til strand og by. Personalet var søde og hjælpsomme.

The hotel was perfect for the price and location, the staff were friendly and very accommodating. The pool area was clean and spacious. We had a two bedroom pool front location which was very handy for our party.

Hyfsat hotell med undermålig standard. Bokat transport från flygplatsen till hotellet,men de dyker inte upp. Ursäktar sig med att de glömt. Dock väldigt tillmötesgående och trevliga under vistelsen. Mysig och god frukost med anrik servis.

3성급 호텔이지만 저렴한 비용에 비해서 잘 정돈 되어 있고 조그마한 수영장과 바로옆에 있는 바닷가에서 물놀이를 즐길 수 있어 좋았습니다. 다만 호텔 위치 설명이 부족에서 찾는데 애로 사항이 있었고 메인비치에서 좀 떨어져 있는 좀 은 단점이지만 그래도 오토바이를 렌탈해서 다니면 큰 문제는 없음
