Pros:

We can’t thank the staff enough for how kind and welcoming they all were during our stay. All staff were willing to go the extra mile and make our stay special.
That view!! I don’t think any hotel room will ever beat the view from our balcony and the pool.

Prachtig uitzicht, we hadden een geweldige kamer upstage gekregen en heel erg genoten.

Hôtel moyen, qui ne vaut pas son prix. Si j’avais pu choisir un autre hôtel, je l’aurais fait.
Pros:

Nous avons beaucoup aimé la piscine, la vue et la chambre. Le service de blanchisserie était également disponible, ce qui était vraiment pratique et appréciable !

Cons:

Nous n’avons pas du tout apprécié la cuisine, qui n’était vraiment pas bonne. Nous avons même retrouvé un cheveu dans notre plat, sans qu’un remplacement du plat ou une quelconque compensation ne nous soit proposé. Très décevant.

Pros:

Frühstücksbuffet war sehr fein und grosse Auswahl. Pool sauber mit Liegen und Pooltüchern. Zimmer sehr gross und schön. Personal sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Etwas weit vom Zentrum und in der Nacht sehr dunkel zum gehen. Hotel bestellt jederzeit ein Tuktuk für 500 Rupis.

Cheap behavior
Pros:

I am extremely disappointed by the receptionist 's rude and & unprofessional behavior.When a client asked to repeat something they didn 't catch, that reception lady " Medhani "dismissively stated she only says things one time.Customers deserve basic respect ,not this kind og cheap behavior.Management needs to address this properly.

Authentic accommodation with a view
Pros:

The view - just wow. After driving through Elle, we hit a couple of really tight hairpin corners, the last of which dropped us at the foot of Misty Hills, a hotel perched on a rocky corner. We were warmly met on arrival by the lovely staff and offered a cooling towel and a refreshing juice. Check in was easy and before we knew it we had been escorted to our room and then wow again as we looked over the whole valley from our window. 

The room was quaint with a comfortable queen bed and tidy bathroom - all very clean and tidy. We booked a double deluxe room with Balcony which included daily breakfast.  The pool was a refreshing way to cool down and relax and that view was there again.

The staff were exceptional, extremely helpful and attentive and always with a lovely smile - this place was genuine both in the old creaky and soulful building that has evolved on the rock face and its wonderful staff - I definitely recommend this hotel and we will certainly be returning to Misty Hills when we next visit Ella.

Nice hotel with fantastic views. Short drive to the main sights and city center
Pros:

Fantastic view of the valley, Ella Rock and Little Adams Peak. Both from the rooms and the pool/restaurant area of the hotel. Super friendly and service minded staff. Our room on the 6th floor was huge and clean. 5 min ride to both Ella centre and Rawanna falls with Tuk Tuk

Pros:

Het uitzicht, de enige reden van ons verblijf. De bedden waren wel comfortabel en de kamer was schoon. Het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk.

Cons:

Het hotel is erg verouderd en in slechte staat. De douche was koud en her en der zit wat schimmel. Ook de faciliteiten zijn in verouderde staat. Het gehele hotel heeft een opknapbeurt nodig.

Mixed bag - great views, great staff; noisy location, basic rooms
Pros:

The View on two sides of the room - Ravana Ella mountain and valleys in front and the green hills on the other. The gurgling of a waterfall added to the experience
The Size - was large enough
The access from the elevator was convenient
The staff were very friendly and helpful

Cons:

The hotel is located along the main hill highway on a bend. Heavy vehicles tend to honk when navigating that bend. It becomes a nuisance at night.
The original building, in colonial style, is located on the 7th floor from the street...the rest of the floors are quick n easy concrete 'boxes' constructed to create room and ancillary spaces - the charm is contrived thru artefacts.
The cost of shirodhara add-on was not detailed in the menu and turned out to be the same as the full-body massage!!!

Pros:

Uitzicht op de vallei! Vriendelijke mensen.

Cons:

Zwembad was fris en veel kleiner dan op de foto. Restaurant was s'avonds leeg dus wij zijn ook uit eten gegaan.
