A warm welcome after a long flight, clean reception and warming facilities, amazing hospitality, great breakfast and responsive service

The staff was the friendliest we met in one month of Nepal; free (and stable!) WiFi; nice breakfast: you can choose from a menu which I prefer over having a buffet. The location in Thamel is perfect. A lot of nice restaurants, shops and cafes are very close. The rooms are very clean, and the beds are comfortable. Everything was perfect. When we come back to Nepal, we will stay here!

We stayed here as a family of 4 earlier this week. The staff are so welcoming and helpful! I had a minor issue with the bathroom which was resolved while we were out, and generally we got so much help from them. Rinku (who does the morning yoga on the terrace) organised trips out for us at very short notice and a good price - much cheaper than going via large booking companies. In addition I lost my phone the day before leaving, and the staff could not have been more helpful. They came to the tourist police with me to help report, and provided CCTV footage, and the phone was found the following day thankfully.
The rooms themselves are very nice and bright, good showers, excellent breakfasts, and lovely to have the choice to eat on the upstairs terrace. The location is great - in Thamel and a very short walk from loads of shops, restaurants, cafes etc. I only wish we'd allowed more time! We will definitely be back.

Comfortable, friendly

Hotel location is perfect, right in the middle of restaurants, cafes and shops. Hotel is new and nicely decorated, rooms are clean and comfy. Breakfast is not the usual buffet kind but served according to guest's choice. It was tasty, fulfilling, and delicious. Services at the hotel are top notch. Ms Uknir patiently showed us the various options to sightsee around Kathmandu and helped arrange a driver with car at competitive rate. Mr Ashok Gurung, I believe is the owner, was always greeting guests and asking if everything was ok, treating every guest as his friend and readily offering his help. He even offered to drive us to the airport when he saw our car was too small with our luggages. The hospitality offered by the hotel is excellent. I will definitely stay here again for my future trip to Kathmandu.

Breakfast options were excellent. Able to accommodate special diets, including dairy free, gluten free, and vegetarian diets in our group.

Accueil chaleureux, les chambres sont agréables le rapport qualité prix est satisfaisant, je recommande cet établissement ça fait plusieurs fois que nous descendons, nous n’avons jamais été déçu.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Tenki! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the Wifi was excellent. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. The service and hospitality made me feel right at home.

I am vegetarian and they accommodated me very well. Breakfast was very delicious and they have many options. Also the room is very nice with nice bathroom facilities.

The staff was amazing. They took care of everything we needed. They were so lovely and kind. Breakfast was amazing. It was fresh and super delicious.
Hot water in the shower, a big room with all the facilities. The location was great for us.
