Location to downtown is great.

Cons:

Noisy rooms. Street traffic noise. Tried to double charge us for parking.that was prepaid. Had to request room cleaning.

Pros:

Front desk friendly and helpful. Roomgood until I used the toilet which was stoned with feces in the bowl . Front desk notified and we saw housekeeper in the hallway and spoke to them. They were quick to fix

Location and the rooftop ( but only one bartender)

Cons:

The bathroom had mold in the shower floor and the toilet was dirty I complained about it and it was never cleaned properly. The bedroom was never vacuumed.

Fire Alarm went off at 2am then 4 more times afterwards. No self-parking options other than street curbside

Pros:

The elevator floor was dirty, the room wasn’t clean and the rest of the place didn’t seem to be well maintained. While we probably will not return to Traverse City any time soon. I have a friend who lives there and would actually go out of my way to let him know the place wasn’t a nice place.

The staff was great and super helpful and nice and especially the valets; Jake was awesome and is the gold standard for premium service. The hotel itself though was dirty, the rooms were very dark and spiderwebs everywhere and spiders in every corner and the trash bins stink for days without being emptied in the hallways. Whenever we saw the house cleaners they were always eating while working and so we just never had them clean the room to just keep our stuff safe. The floors are thin and so you here every footstep like there are elephants a live you and everyone we talked to said the same thing about noise. Bright spot is location to walk downtown and again the staff at the desk, valet, and restaurant/bar were awesome just a poor condition hotel especially for the price.

The location was extremely convenient to the downtown area and beautiful view of the bay. The room was very nicely designed - one of the best hotel rooms we have ever seen - especially the bathroom! The rooftop bar is a nice extra. The only concern was the road noise since the hotel is right on a busy 4 lane highway.

Nice decor. Easy waking from downtown

Cons:

The close proximity to the busy street made sleeping almost impossible. I’d suggest not paying extra for the bay view, because the view comes with the busy street just feet away from where you sleep
