Truly relaxing and full of comfort in the middle of amazing nature. Great value.
Pros:

We really enjoyed the beautiful location and the way the lodges were integrated into the trees. We also loved rthe breakfast and the dinner and the very he;pful staff.

Relaxing, tranquil with lovely food and a warm welcome.
Pros:

The setting is perfect for people wanting peace and seclusion but still only a 10 minute drive or 30 minute cycle (using Kuwera’s rudimentary bikes, which we enjoyed very much!) from the main town. The cottages are set sympathetically in the trees surrounding the pool and restaurant area, and we found our cabin (for 4 people) to be very comfortable with a lovely bathroom and outdoor shower, not something we’ve had before! The pool, surrounded by a canopy of trees and wooden cabanas, was a perfect place to relax. The staff were without exception courteous and welcoming. Breakfast was varied and very tasty and we enjoyed our evening meals, vegetarian rice and curry, with no two dishes the same on either occasion. Very good indeed!

Un véritable petit paradis
Pros:

C’est un véritable havre de paix, en pleine nature au milieu de la faune et de la flore, un repos absolu
Nous avons aimé la gentillesse du personnel toujours aux petits soins, le petit déjeuner excellent et copieux et les repas servis très variés et goûtus
Encore un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour l’accueil chaleureux

Friendly - yet very dark without view and food without spices
Pros:

As usual in Sri Lanka, the people are very friendly

Cons:

Food was almost without any spices (I guess made for majority of western tourists).
Entire premise and espcially the rooms was all a bit too dark and unfortunately no view
Very remotely - you need to have a driver to get away (which is not unimportant as food is not good and you cannot walk on the road by yourself in the night as you are basically next to jungle and snakes/elephants are crossing the road)

Perfect!
Pros:

Amazing spot with outstanding staff! Nothing was too much trouble; Kasuni on reception organised a last minute Loris viewing trip when we couldn’t find a space online. She also sorted out our transport to local sights.
Ruvin was a perfect waiter and the food was absolutely delicious; some of the best we had in Sri Lanka. Our compliments to Asela the chef.
The cabins are rustic with 5 star service and food.

A very very peaceful location

In the jungle
Pros:

Die Anlage ist sehr schön, das Personal sehr freundlich und das Essen abends landestypisch und lecker. Die Möglichkeit für Massagen, Dampfbäder usw. ist eine angenehme Option.

Cons:

Das Preisniveau ist relativ hoch für Sri Lanka. Mir hat die abgelegene Lage mitten im Wald gut gefallen; wer aber andere Ausgehmöglichkeiten sucht, braucht ein Fahrzeug.

Beautiful surroundings and lovely staff
Pros:

Lovely peaceful setting - lush and leafy, with an attractive restaurant/bar at the centre, a very nice pool and the sound of birds everywhere. The staff were very friendly - they gave us a warm welcome with a good briefing about the surroundings and lodge, the restaurant/bar man was so helpful and hardworking, there from morning to night and explaining each and every dish to us, and the lodge has a good sustainability ethos (with fresh filtered water rather than plastic). We also had a nice tour of the organic farm at the back, with a lady who spoke very good English, and the farmer made us corn he had harvested that morning - a nice touch. The food is good - it is a set menu without choice, but we liked that as it kept things simple and we are very happy with the local food. All in all we really liked this place.

Cons:

The beds were a bit too soft and squishy, which is a pity as everything else was so perfect. I do suggest the management invest in new beds and then I would have given 10/10.

This is the best and most beautiful place we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka. Thank you to the wonderful staff.
Pros:

Kuwera Eco Lodge has a beautiful jungle setting and is a smaller property with excellent personalized service. The accommodations are private and comfortable.
