Marvel Beach Hotel

STAY OUT, awful rooms, NO INTERNET, no food service, high prices in bar, bad service, reception nowhere to be found, too loud at nights. Broken amenities, air conditioning, bad cleaning, Overall bad experience, would never recommend. Just stay away.

My family has been going to this hotel for four years. Although the condition of the hotel was never good, given the price and the convenient location by the beach it was still a good deal. Unfortunately the condition and the service have deteriorated over time. In the first two years, it was a breakfast only rate. Last year they changed it to an all inclusive rate with beer and wine included. We booked the same rate this year. Beer and wine were no longer included. What is worse is that we did not learn about this until we arrived at the hotel. The hotel manager said that the Hotels.com rate does not include drinks although that type of rate can be booked directly from the hotel website. In this case I am not sure if it is the hotel's or Hotels.com's fault for not providing information during the booking process on what the "all-inclusive rate" includes but one thing has been consistent every year. The hotel condition and offerings get worse from year to year. There is also no doctor or medical kits on site. I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel, despite the price and location, unless you have low expectations for your vacation experience.

Konaklama yapacak herkese tek tavsiyem. Bir saniye bile düşünmeyin. Bir işletmenin oteli,personeli,sahibi,bulunduğu konumu,verdiyi hizmeti ve imkanları dört dörtlük olabilirmi ya. Burası öyle bir yer hicbirsehinden pişman olmadan zaman geçireceğiniz bir yer. Marcela çok teşekkür ederim.

Sehr sehr freundliches Personal, sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, geben sich viel Mühe, würde immer wieder buchen.

The hotel is just off a main road going in to Bodrum, overlooking the sea. The hotel coud do with updating but by far the best thing was the staff, the lady that made the fresh Turkish breakfast for us each morning, reception and cleaning staff all went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We paid £64 for 3 nights B&B I just don't know how they do it for that money. Bed and room tidy and clean, shower a little run down but it worked. Pool and bar was closed as it was early season but we still felt welcome and would visit again without a doubt. Thanks to Fahri the manager who always seem to be on duty and had time to sit down and talk, lovely man and a relaxed hotel.

Excellent water front location, a little road noise. Clean but by the far the best bit was the staff everyone we talked to was just so helpful. Lovely fresh Turkish breakfast every morning and all for £64 for 3 nights for two people. We stayed early season so the pool and bar was shut, very handy for shos and the dolmus to Bodrum and great value.

We were very disappointed with this hotel. When we checked in, the staff could not speak English well and seemed to have no idea about our booking. When we eventually got to the room, the bathroom was dirty and rusty. The bed was ok but there was a very small sheet on the bed which was not adequate for 2 people. There was also loud music past midnight which made it difficult to sleep.

Finally, we paid for breakfast when we booked, and the receptionist told us that breakfast was at 6.30am. This was perfect, because we had to leave at 7.45am for our flight. However, breakfast wasn't actually until 8.30am, so we didn't get what we paid for.

Odaları çok kötü.. resimde gösterdiği gibi değil twin yatak diye iki tane tek kişilik yatağı birleştirmişler çok rahatsız ediciydi. Bütün gece boyun ağrısı geçirdim.. banyosu berbat. Kahvaltısı da çok iyi değildi konum olarak plaj yakın olması ama odaları berbattı.

an excellent overnight stay on a beautiful beach on the way from the airport to other corners/beaches of Bodrum. I shall keep coming here for that purpose and may even prolong my stay.
On the other hand, the late night staff was pretty clueless about minor things: (one missing pillow case, not working refrigerator, missing remote for the AC..) but the day time staff was very nice and attentive. Good breakfast, great beach.

Good location, there are some nice restaurants in the area. Just across the road there is a restaurant and Kemal is a brilliant host.
Also Bodrum is 20-30 minutes away with minibus which is very convenient.

We arrived late at night to a warm welcome from the manager but that was the best part of our stay. There were so many issues that we didn't even stay for breakfast. The worst points were the hair in the soap in the shower and the balcony door with a broken key in the lock so it couldn't be locked.

Friendly overnight stop from airport to Bodrum in the dark on unfamiliar roads. Breakfast was typical and delicious.
