J’ai fait la réservation sur Booking, j’ai contacté l’établissement pour savoir si ma réservation était bien arrivée, ils m’ont répondu que oui une fois sur place, ils me disent qu’ils n’ont pas de chambre avec Lit King size, mais deux lits séparés que si je voulais une chambre avec Lit size, il fallait que je rajoute de l’argent en plus de ce qui était convenu
Au petit matin à la lumière du jour, je me rends compte que les draps avaient des auréoles. Je trouve que cet hôtel est largement surcoté avec des prix très élevés dans les prestations ne sont pas au niveau.

Erittäin siisti ja tilava huone isossa, turvallisessa hotellissa.
Pros:

Aamiainen oli erittäin runsas, valinnanvaraa oli jopa liikaa. Hälinää oli paljon kiireisimpänä aikan (klo 7-8). Leipä oli erinomaista. Vastaanoton henkilökunta oli hyvin avuliasta ja ystävällistä. Italialaisessa (Jannah?) ravintolassa Islam-niminen tarjoilija ansaitsee erikoismaininnan palvelualttiudestaan. Huone oli tilava ja erittäin siisti. Siivoojat ystävällisiä ja tehokkaita.

Cons:

Informaatio oli olematonta. Huoneessa oli yksi vihkonen (vain ranskaksi!) , mutta siinäkin lähinnä yleistietoja Marriott-hotelleista. Olisimme kaivanneet tietoa uima-altaan ja span aukioloajoista, span palveluista ja hinnoista, huonepalvelun menusta ja hinnoista jne. Edes ranskaksi olisi luullut olevan joku esite. Olisi hyvä saada informaatiota myös englanniksi. Buffetravintolan ruoka oli hyvää mutta hinta oli hyvin korkea.

How to spoil a lovely hotel Stay.
Pros:

Because our suite was so nice I tried to send these suggestions and criticisms directly to Marriott but there was no way to do that on line so now it has to be public. The hotel itself is lovely and our suite, #429, was large and nicely furnished with lots of amenities. The view was spectacular from the mosque on the left and over the valley and several bridges. However there are some issues. A simple one to fix, and this applies to all hotels, please have a sink plug that closes. In our case we are traveling for 52 days and certainly not taking 52 pairs of underwear and socks each, so we bring a half dozen each and wash them in the sink when we are staying two nights or more. Here we stayed four nights. We had laundry done by the hotel but are certainly not giving them underwear. Next issue - on our first night we went to the restaurant on the first floor where we were told they were full and sent us to the one on the second floor where they told us that it was now open only for special events. The only other option was the bar but there was a guy outside charging about US$25 for men to enter (women are free) as the bar is part of the nightclub. We had to eat there but in a dark club environment and with a limited menu. The next night we went back to the first floor restaurant where it was only a buffet, which is fine if you are starving but a waste of money for us after we’d had a large lunch and just wanted a snack. To boot when we asked for the wine list they said they didn’t have one but had red and white wine. We wanted to know what varieties but the best they could do was to bring two bottles and offer us a choice. For a large five star hotel this is unacceptable and certainly not the Marriott standard we are used to. There was a card by the bed saying they change the sheets every third day but our certainly were not. The WiFi is slow. This trip was to celebrate my wife’s 72nd birthday and my 80th, both on the same day, In a couple of the hotels we stayed in the week before, they sent up a birthday cake and other treats but here, on our actual birthday, absolutely nothing. As I said the dinner options were so poor that on our birthday we went to another hotel to dine. Come on Marriott, get your act together.

Pros:

Specious and comfortable room. Spa area was great.

Cons:

There was 2 of us but room was prepered only for 1 person. Ice machine did’t work. Food at the restaurant lacking of taste. Breakfast choice wasn’t great - not enough for that class of hotel.

The Room was nice and spacious, that's it, the toiletries was missing, not even a water glass to put my toothbrush in. Nowhere where to hang face towel.

Cons:

The check in was way too slow, asked me to fill up lots of paperwork as if I was buying a house! The room was not ready despite being 3pm local time. Dust in the room, the breakfast buffet was awful and inedible, not even a toaster to toast your bread, no orange juice despite being the best season for oranges, coffee was dreadful coming out of an old machine, pastries were disgusting, and the chef couldn't even cook 2 eggs! The Spa facilities were awful, basically there are none, guests of the hotel playing loud mobile phone sound in the Spa relaxation area, no bathrobes, unbelievable!! I will give it 3 star at best, and I'm being very generous, whoever wrote a good review about this hotel, either they never travelled before and do not know what 5 star really mean, or they got paid to write a positive review.

Good Marriott Standards
Pros:

Professional service mostly. Lots of staff but some don’t know the right info. Gave us wrong time on breakfast causing us to miss it. Osama restaurant supervisor did his best to accommodate us (well done) however you could see the cooks bad attitude (not good).

Rooms looking at the city have the most amazing view. They are very well decorated and with lots of space. Super comfortable. Would definitely go back.

The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because ALL the staff should have knowledge of everything and the cooks showed bad attitude.
