We recently stayed for 5 nights at the Siam Reverie & really enjoyed our stay.
The hotel is located outside of the main town of Pai (full of young wannabe hippies on mopeds lol) and thought the location was perfect being far enough away for peace & quiet next to the river, whilst still only being a 15-20 walk into town.
As other have said the hotel offers a free shuttle into town anyway and when you are ready to return you can just send a What's App & they will come and pick you up.
Having said although we did eat in town on a couple of nights, we enjoyed the ambience & food at the hotel's restaurant so much we ended up eating in the other 3 nights. They offer a very good menu of both Western & Asian fused / inspired dishes. The desserts were excellent too as was the service and friendly staff.
Breakfast was also one of the best we have ever had on our travels. You are served a cake tier of scones, fruit, yoghurt, breads etc and you can also have eggs to order from the menu (the benedict was very tasty!).
We had a garden room, which we really enjoyed as it's large with a huge bathroom & a little terrace so you can sit outside & relax if you like, overlooking the garden. The one very small criticism if we were being picky, that we had of the room is that it is a little dark with low lighting which made getting ready in the evenings a little difficult for my wife's makeup etc, but this is a very minor thing of course & won't affect everybody.
The grounds of the hotel are lovely & relaxing with two pools (we preferred the pool away from the rooms as it offers a bit more privacy) & it was never busy at all.
There is also a nice area down by the river with some comfy cushions & yoga mats which is very relaxing.
It does get a bit chilly in the mornings in Pai in January, so you will probably want a jumper for breakfast if visiting that time of year, but by 11am the fog would clear & the sun would be out warming things up to a nice 27 degrees.
All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Pai & the hotel and had fun exploring the surrounding area!
We absolutely loved our stay at Reverie Siam. It is one of those boutique hotels that feels thoughtfully designed in every detail, from the vintage colonial style to the quiet little corners of the gardens. The whole property is beautiful and calming, set right by the Pai River, but still close enough to town that it is easy to get to Pai Walking Street when you want some life.
The vibe is relaxed and romantic, with lush grounds and two pools that make you want to spend the day doing nothing at all.
Service was a standout for us. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which really elevated the experience and made it feel like a true five star stay.
Food was also excellent. We had a great breakfast and really enjoyed the restaurant, which offers a mix of Mediterranean and contemporary Thai dishes, plus a solid wine selection.
If you are coming to Pai and want a place that feels special, peaceful, and well run, this is the one. We would happily return.
Reverie Siam is a truly special place. A beautifully designed, peaceful resort with a calm and relaxing atmosphere, incredibly comfortable rooms and a perfect location close to Pai village.
It holds an extra special place in our hearts as my fiancé proposed to me in the Pavilion, the most beautiful and romantic setting imaginable.
The team went far beyond anything we could have expected when I accidentally left my sunglasses behind. Joy, Nonticha and the wider team tracked them down, coordinated with another guest and even arranged for them to be returned to me at our next hotel in Phuket. Their communication was fast, thoughtful and incredibly kind.
They also surprised us by sharing CCTV footage of my proposal so we now have a video of that unforgettable moment. Truly outstanding service from the warmest and most attentive team. We could not recommend Reverie Siam more highly.
Perfect quiet, romantic spot. Throw back, colonial feel to the rooms and restaurant but luxury none the less. We booked the 2 room terrace. The rooms are not adjoining but had a private terrace that connects the room. The amenities are thoughtful and good quality. We enjoyed the food and service of the restaurant and we liked that the staff knew who we were and what our room number was. It is a short ride to the town
( which we loved) and the shuttle was always available.
Staff were pleasant and helpful but the accommodation was tired and in need of upgrading
The restaurant was rather disappointing
This is a fantastic hotel in Pal....which is slightly off the normal tourist itinerary. But if you are looking to go to this part of the country, this is a great place to stay. The staff are great (very helpful), the rooms are fantastic and the overall colonial character of the hotel is great and provides a degree of sophistication. We had two of the villas which were great.
This is truly a lovely boutique hotel. Great service, location, pool, rooms etc. An ideal place to stay if you are in Pai.
We had a great time at this resort! The staff is super friendly, they always have a smile on their face. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the pool on our first day there, and impressed how clean and well maintained it was.
Definitely will stay here again if we are able to come back to Pai.
We had a great time staying at the resort, lovely staff, quiet and nice place.
Food was lovely
Had an excellent stay with my family.
My villa room was not suitable for 2 adults and 3 children- although the hotel tried to do as much as he could to accommodate us.
Service was excellent- shuttle service is perfect and flawless.
Hotel is beautiful
Breakfast is superb.
Pools ate very nice and the views are really beautiful.
Would definitely recommend staying there.
Thank you for an excellent stay!
Although only a km or so from the centre of Pai, full of backpackers doing there noisy thing, RS is an oasis of tranquility. The gardens are spacious and beautifully maintained. Two more than adequate pools. A pavilion overlooking the river provides an opportunity for quiet contemplation. Spacious room with very large bathroom.
I would dispute suggestions that there is anything wrong with the food. Take a look at the website. European focused perhaps but plenty of choice at dinner and breakfast. Beautifully presented, generous and very tasty dishes, along with a decent offering of drinks.
The staff are first rate and we much enjoyed their afternoon tour and sunset picnic (although it was more like afternoon tea but none the worse for that).
Highly recommended.
We only had one night at this hotel.
Staff were polite and helpful.
The room was large and clean. The grounds of the hotel are very nicely laid out, two swimming pools which were too cold for us in December evening. Nice riverfront seating area.
We had dinner here which was nice and they were able to swap out the salad for some cooked vegetables which we appreciated. However the menu was a bit thin on local dishes.
For the price of the stay we found breakfast disappointing and needs improving. They provide each guest with:
4x small pieces of fruit
Some bread
2x small pancakes
Tiny shot glass size of yoghurt
One cooked plate from their menu. We had the pai scramble which was nice.
If you want more for breakfast you could order something else for an additional cost.
The overall breakfast portions were meagre, they should at least have an open buffet for the fruits, yoghurts, breads so guests can help themselves, not control these few pieces each.
If visiting Pai we would see what other options are available as for the price we expected a better standard of breakfast.
Amazing experience.
The cleanliness of the room and the entire hotel environment is perfect
Excellent service from all the staff
A very tasty breakfast served from a very varied menu
Highly recommended!
We will definitely return to the hotel again on our next visit to the amazing Pai
Positif:
-havre de paix,
-literie confortable
-personnel sympathique
-navette
-bon petit déjeuner (mais ce n’est pas un buffet)
Négatif
-Manque une salle de sport pour ce prix là
It was a wonderful solo stay. The outdoor vibe - manicured landscaping, lots of greenery and wide spaces to wander about. Indoor - beautifully curated pieces to decorate and warm up the place.
The resort is made up of standalone little houses; not a high-rise building. Do expect lots of butterflies and insects from the gardens. And the odd toad here, and a lizard there once in a while.
The breakfast setup is awesome - I looked forward to it everyday.
We were evacuated because of the floods and the staff were amazing! They looked after us very well and made sure we were all safe plus they packed our belongings for us!
Stayed 3 nights at the Reverie Siam. The hotel was recommended to us by a friend who lives in Pai.
Initially we had booked 2 nights but upon checking in at this beautiful property, we immediately decided to stay another night.
The room is very spacious yet has a very homely vibe to it. It was well equipped with all the toiletries and snacks you'd need.
Location is fairly central, a couple minutes away from the main town area by motorbike and I believe there is a free taxi service for pick up and drop off by the hotel.
Breakfast is delicious and has a decent variety. Great restaurant, had dinner there for two nights as well. The food/restaurant itself is probably one of the best in Pai.
Facilities are well maintained. The hotel doesn't seem to have a lot of staff walking around but somehow you will see everything very well maintained.
Highly recommend if you’re in Pai!
This place is exceptional. Concept and execution .
Professional staff where anything is possible.
Stayed in a Villa for four nights. Beautiful. Perfect for a couple. That spa!
Go down by the river with coffee or to meditate. You'll probably get it to yourself.
Restaurant is superb.
This place is not to be missed. Young or old.
Awesome 5 nights during our honeymoon extended travels. Staff were an absolute delight. Grounds are awesome; we used all the pools and areas. River area also lovely for a read.
Smashed a night of room service with 5 dishes and all excellent.
Shuttle to town incredible and pick up.
Perfect sanctuary with large enough rooms with tubs; nice and romantic for all settings.
Only only thing is the cocktails we had were not great; my Bloody Mary was not done well at all and wish there could’ve been a discussion on that.
