Pros:

We are staying at this hotel for the 4th time, and it truly feels like coming back home.
The best thing about this place is definitely the location — the waves are literally right under your window. There is a small, clean, private beach, and turtles come here every day, so you can watch them swimming very close to the shore.

We always choose a sea-view room, because having morning coffee with an ocean view is simply priceless.
Highly recommended — we will definitely come back again!

What a gem of a location with fantastic staff
Pros:

Wow what a property and what a location! It’s everything it says and more and yes there are turtles in the sea outside. Listening to the sound of the waves on an evening is just thriving in the cake. The staff and the breakfasts were fantastic. You won’t be disappointed booking this place.

La Ocean junior suite della Veranda di Serena dove abbiamo soggiornato e’ accogliente e molto curata
Pros:

La colazione era deliziosa e abbondante, a base di frutta fresca, smoothy, latte, caffè, the, pane tostato, burro, marmellata, omelette.
Viene servita in uno spazio aperto direttamente sul mare.

Location, location.
Pros:

We booked specifically to see the turtles and hear the sea, and we weren't disappointed. The view from the balcony was fantastic, with the turtles swimming by throughout the day, amazing sunsets, and the lovely staff, we loved our 3 days here.

En lille perle direkte på stranden
Pros:

En lille perle i Unawatuna, direkte ved en lille skildpadde strand 🏝️ Smuk solnedgang, god morgenmad i sandet og venligt og imødekommende personale.

Cons:

De flotte træ møbler på terrassen havde desværre ingen hynder, svært at ☺️

Pros:

Η θεση του ξενοδοχειου. Στα 200 μετρα πολυ καλη παραλια για μπανιο.
Το προσωπικο ήταν πολυ φιλικο.

Beautiful setting close to Unawatuna center.
Pros:

I had a great stay here. It was close to the main part of Unawatuna - easily walkable and the room was spacious, bed was comfortable, had a good shower and everything was clean. It is literally right on the waters edge with a tiny beach in front of it which was so quaint and it was really nice to be able to hear the waves as I drifted off to sleep and the terrace was stunning - for this location I wish I could have stayed longer, it was truly beautiful. In the morning I was arranged a taxi to take me to Ella for a very good price (payed the hotel by card) and my driver was really nice. I could also leave my bags by reception until I came back at 6:30pm which was very helpful. I would recommend staying here. All the staff were very kind and as a solo female traveller I felt safe and cared for in this beautiful setting.

Cons:

Check out is at 11 not 11:30 like it says on booking. I would say that it is quite expensive for the area and not drastically better than much cheaper options but if you can afford it, do it. 🙏🏽

Pros:

Nice breakfast, a lot of turtles on the beach, good owner.

Cons:

No good place for swimming. A lot of stone. The distance to good beach is 3 minutes by tuk tuk.

Pros:

Понравилось абсолютно всё!
Номер приятный, чистый. Уборка ежедневно. Фен есть. Завтраки с прекрасной подачей: смузи, фрукты, чай/кофе, тост с маслом и джемом и яйца.
Работники очень приятные и готовы всегда помочь.
