Room is clean, staff is wonderful. The food needs assistance. They didn't have bottled water or snacks for purchase.

Comfort,relaxing, clean and quiet

I was responsible for a large group that came in from out of town and out of the country for my mother’s 90th birthday celebration.
Although the hotel was fairly clean, the elevators were not working and there was no one to help carry luggage to the rooms. My disabled aunt had to struggle her way up to her room on the 2nd floor.
On the day I was checking out, I asked the receptionist “Lily,” if I could have a late checkout at 12 pm, to which she replied rudely and dismissively “I already gave the other guests in your group late checkout, so you can’t have late checkout.”
Keep in mind I was only asking to checkout at 12pm, ONE HOUR after the scheduled checkout time of 11 am and she refused to accommodate me even after I told her I was an IHG member who hosted the group.
While checking out, “Lily” was her familiar unfriendly, dismissive self and continued to justify her behavior.
I informed IHG of my experience but I don’t know what will become of it.
Overall, what should have been a pleasant experience, turned out to be a DUD….
P.S. I believe it is important to point out the good experiences in the midst of bad ones. Felicity who checked me into the hotel was friendly and accommodating and when I called the hotel to tell them about my experience with “Lily,” Jade was also accommodating.

I booked a room w/double beds. At ck in, found out elevator out of order. My husband CAN NOT walk up the stairs. Felicity offered the king bed available on bottom floor. She said she was not able to refund the difference in bookings because room booked thru Hotels.com. Needed a room downstairs, so accepted king bed. I understand that elevator has been out over a Month!! A comment should have been posted on your booking site. I was very fortunate a room was available downstairs, even though the room I got was cheaper than the room I booked! Better communication is definitely needed between Holiday Inn and Hotels.com.

I’m very sure the Fairfield behind the holiday inn or even the Quinta inn was. Better. I did not like my check in, check out experience. For a holiday in the room was not as clean, there was a smell, and the bathroom had a leak. The breakfast was no good at all

The room had roaches and the coffee maker- Keurig was broken . They did not offer breakfast or even fruit or cereal. The door had trim falling off, I felt unsafe even with the double bolt in place. No house keeping available, staff was rude and short when asking for extra towels. At checkout I requested a receipt and was turned down because I booked through Expedia. So disappointed, and
