Tamarindo Bay Hotel & Apartments- Self Check In, Adults Only

Very quiet spot, does not feel like the rest of Tamarindo. Walking distance to shops restaurants, and beaches. My wife and I were kicking off a month in Costa Rica and it was an excellent transition spot. The apartment felt very homey with a very comfortable king bed and a very nice kitchen area with a table. The bathroom was also massive. A full coffee maker with coffee was provided. There was a full refrigerator and all the utensils we needed. They had a filtered water dispenser that served up cold water. They also had a nice little pool. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in Tamarindo.

Stayed four days at Tamarindo Boutique Hotel and honestly, it was a serene little slice of paradise. Marie, the host, is super sweet and always just a WhatsApp away. The second-floor saltwater pool with a tiny waterfall? Pure bliss. Loved the chill, adult-only vibe, simple, clean rooms with that laid-back beach feel. The back gate leads right to the main street but inside, it’s peaceful and quiet. Plus, those thoughtful touches like filtered water and onsite sunscreen by the pool really stood out. If you want a low-key retreat with easy access to Tamarindo’s buzz, this is your spot.

This is the most beautiful, peaceful and well designed property. Maria and Bathsheba were both so kind and helpful. I stayed in two different rooms, and each one was immaculate. The pools were both beautiful and the grounds were peaceful and perfect. The kitchens in both rooms had everything I wanted and needed to cook meals.
I cannot say enough good things about this lovely hotel, that is just a few minutes walk to the beach and to town.

An absolute gem of a place to stay! We loved our stay and would love to come back! The pools were amazing! Rooms so clean and comfortable! A easy walk to plenty of restaurants and the beach!

Very quiet, clean and walkable to the best parts of Tamarindo. Manager was very friendly, helpful and communication was clear and professional.

Our room (villa) was beautiful beyond imagination. Absolutely 10 stars.
But the workout area was on the opposite end.
Although it was a few minutes walk away from “downtown”, it was a pain to walk to get even coffee, because of dirt roads and no side walk.

The owners were so wonderful. Digital check-in was super smooth. The property was the best stay I had in Tamarindo or Flamingo. Great pools, too!

Amazing property, even more amazing staff. As a young female travel with one other friend, we felt extremely safe with all the gates and security. The area itself is pretty quiet unless you take the back road, where you will see all the restaurants and clubs.
Overall 10/10.

Absolutely wonderful! The owner is super helpful and friendly. The hotel property is beautifully maintained and rooms are spotlessly cleaned. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff are amazing! So communicative. They made me feel like they were happy I was there and literally did everything to make me feels comfortable and safe. Two things I really value as a solo traveller.

Quiet and peaceful but in a perfect location- close to beach, shopping, and restaurants. The host Marie went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect.

Wonderful stay at the Tamarindo Bay Hotel a few weeks ago. It's like staying at a mini-resort. Very clean and efficient. Close enough to restaurant row and the beach but, far enough to have perfect peace and quiet in the evening. Our host, Marie, was there at check in and made us feel at home during our three nights here. Will definitely come back for our next trip to Tamarindo.
