Kurma Eco Beach Lodge

L’hôtel est bien placé, proche du port pour aller à White Island. Il y a plusieurs restaurants ou cafés à quelques minutes de marche.
Eloigné de la rue principale, vous vous endormez avec le bruit des vagues.
Le personnel est top.

This was a tucked away plac, absolutely peaceful and very quiet. Amazing staff. I was in Camiguin for 2 weeks, (5days I was very sick) other than that I loved it there. I would stay again for sure.

El estado de conservación del hotel deja mucho que desear. Pero tiene una ubicación increíble junto al mar, nosotros al llegar siempre nos tomamos una cervezas con unos camotes chips. La cocina es muy buena, no dejes de probar la hamburguesa de coco. Y el personal también. Nosotros lo cogimos porque no conducimos moto, pero si la tienes solo iría a probar la hamburguesa de coco, hay hoteles en Camiguin en mejor estado de conservación y con iguales o mejores vistas al mismo precio. Eso sí, sin su hamburguesa de coco

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, y es cómodo, tiene una pequeña playita enfrente y una terraza delante del mar preciosa. La pena es que está poco mantenido, con una limpieza de cara el hotel podría estar de lujo, como por ejemplo cubrir los techos de Uralita de cada construccion con caña de palmera, parecería más tropical y solo con eso la imagen del hotel ganaría mucho... El interior de las habitaciones también requiere un pequeño mantenimiento o puesta apunto. El internet no lo probé porque ya la tarjeta de Globe y en el hotel es de las pocas zonas de la isla dónde se coge 4G con este tipo de tarjeta. De todos modos trás moverme por casi 10 hoteles de la Isla, el Kurma es el que mejores condiciones generales tiene. La estructura turística de Camiguin que es una bonita isla, es pobre, muy básica.​

I really enjoyed my stay. The staffs were so approachable and very cheerful. The food was excellent. Most of all the location was perfect, perfect sunset view. I will be back soon.

ホテルの予約完了後は直接メールで連絡を頂き私のホテルに対しての要望を聞いてきました。私は観光に使うレンタルモーターバイクをお願いしました。他にも食事制限とか色々希望があれば連絡して下さいとのことでした。本当に親切でスタッフも客同士もフレンドリーでのんびり時間を過ごせるホテルでした。機械があれば同じホテルに宿泊したいと思っています。

The sea is in front of the lodge. Quiet environment,there is a restaurant near.
And Ferry platform for White Island is also nearby.

Nice friendly place

NIce hotel with friendly staff and good restaurant. For the price we paid, it was okay.

Handy to the White Island boat terminal. Restaurant food good but a very limited menu.

Everything perfect, best kitchen chef ever met in a restourant with best quality/price, fish brought right from locals so fresh and perfect, staff polite, nice and accomodating. Many many things organized every day by the staff like yoga and other activities!

-The bad thing is thath they have the WORST Wi-Fi ever, the cheap modem couldn't handle more then 3 ppl connected and for 3 days almost wouldn't allow me to connect! Owner should buy a better one..

The place's location is picturesque especially during sunsets....the owners and staff were so friendly and helpful that made you feel at home, whether to give you valuable tips to allocate your time in the island or to serve you tasty home made food...the family room was comfortable with 4 beds, clean, cool, with ocean view.....would very much would like to visit to learn the free dive(great instructors French/German/Filipino)....at least 3 days or more need to have a pleasant stay in knowing the island sights and to get oriented in free dive!1

Kurma free dive

We stayed here for a week. If you like a funky/artsy room close to the water, then this resort will be good for you. However, if you are expecting a traditional hotel room, you might be disappointed. Here are some of the attributes to be aware of:
The rooms are old.
The room had mould on the door and furniture.
Much of the time there was quite a lot of noise from adjacent areas.
There is no wifi in the room, and although there is wi-fi at the restaurant, it is not so convenient to use
There is hot water, but not much water pressure.
There is no hot water kettle in the room for making tea or coffee.
The owners and staff were all very friendly, but for some unknown reason we experienced an unpleasant oppressive feeling while we were at the resort, and this feeling disappeared whenever we went out to other places on the island. We couldn’t explain why this was, as the staff were all doing a great job being helpful.
If you are looking for a more mainstream hotel room, there are newer and cleaner ones available without hot water for half the price near the white Island boat landing. If you like yoga and diving, then Kurma is suitable for you.

I stayed at Kurma with my Family and Friends and had a great experience. Diggi, Valerie and their staff were supah friendly and helpful. We did not come for freediving or yoga and they were still very helpful in organizing all of our other requests such as; snorkeling, trekking, and visiting the waterfalls, springs and sites. The menu and food were excellent especially considering we had special vegan and non-pork requests for some of our group. The best part of Kurma is that everyone is genuinely welcome, regardless of age, ethnicity, or religion. It was a great environment for my children and we'll definitely be back!

Wir verbrachten 6 erholsame Tage im Kurma. Dicki und seine Frau Valerie schaffen es, dieses Plätzchen zu einer außergewöhnlichen Oase zu machen. Das Essen war das Beste unserer gesamten Reise, innovative Gerichte mit lokalen Produkten, viel Gemüse, die alle innovativ zubereitet sind. Das Frühstücksangebot einfach der Hammer.
Die Beiden kümmern sich herzlich um ihre Gäste, so wurde für uns Rucksackreparatur und tolle Massage inkl. Transport organisiert, so dass wir trotz anhaltendem Regenwetter einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt hatten.

Excellent place to stay.
Diggi and Valerie are such nice people and accommodate your every need. This is not a luxury hotel but the food is excellent and you really feel at home. We also did the freediving course and it was a very good experience. Quite challenging at times but Diggi always made us feel comfortable and was very patient to allow us to do things in our own time. Highly recommended!!!

Henkilökunta on erittäin ystävällistä ja majapaikan tunnelma on kotoisa.Täällä tuntee olonsa tervetulleeksi. Ravintolasta täytyy antaa erityismaininta; menu on kokeileva ja erikoinen, mutta maut todella onnistuneita, raaka-aineet tuoreita ja annokset hinta-laatusuhteiltaan erinomaisia.

We were overbooked but were given a room in a hotel 50 metres away. Valerie the owner very friendly and welcoming.
The staff were always friendly and incredibly polite and helpful.
We only stayed 4 nights with the main purpose to visit the White Island.
There is no nightlife which was good for us

Great location at Camiguin Island.

After a few days at Camiguin Island I decided to extend my stay for a few nights and Secret Cove was a very pleasant place to stay.
