Friendly and helpful staff (majority of reports)
Spacious rooms mentioned by many guests
Good value / high cost-performance
Easy tram access and proximity to attractions

Categories

Cleanliness
9
Multiple reviews explicitly mention the hotel was clean and well-maintained; several guests noted a good level of cleanliness throughout their stay.
Service
8
Mostly positive comments about friendly and helpful staff, though a few guests reported cold or grumpy interactions (notably a parking attendant and one reception incident), so service is generally good but inconsistent.
Location
9.5
Consistently praised as the standout feature — literally next to Dōgo Onsen, immediate access to shopping streets, tram links and attractions, described as excellent and perfect for sightseeing.
Room Quality
8.5
Many guests reported spacious, comfortable twin rooms and satisfactory bathroom size; one review mentioned a very small room, so overall room quality is solid but with isolated negative reports.
Amenities
7.5
Amenities are mixed: some guests received yukata/geta and umbrellas, while others reported no yukata options and limited parking (height-restricted underground parking), so on-property amenities are uneven.
Value for Money
9
Several reviewers explicitly noted good value and favorable pricing for the location and quality, calling the property a good deal and high CP (cost-performance).
Food and Beverage
7.5
Breakfast impressions vary: some guests praised fresh, tasty breakfasts and included options, while others were disappointed (not buffet, served late), yielding a mixed but acceptable rating.
Overall Experience
8.2
Overall sentiment is positive due to unbeatable location, cleanliness and generally friendly staff; isolated negatives (parking logistics, occasional unfriendly staff, small room or breakfast issues) temper the experience slightly.

Pros:

L'emplacement en face du Dogo Onsen est vraiment génial. L'hôtel nous a prêté des Yukata pour aller faire les bains. Le personnel était très accueillant, les chambres également très propres. Nous avons adoré notre nuit.
