Paola Inn and Suites....one night stay
Pros:

The staff was very nice and helpful. The lobby was clean, the dining room area was clean. The room was mostly clean.

Cons:

The room was clean, but VERY hot when we got in there due to the air conditioner was off. This was a king Suite and the bedroom area had absolutely no air conditioner at all, but eventually the air conditioner in the living area cooled down the bedroom. The towel rack in the bathroom fell off the wall, my husband had to fix the toilet so it would allow water into the tank, and there was a dirty towel on one of the towel racks that was folded. There was not much in the way of food for breakfast when we went to the breakfast area.

Owners need to step up their game and the hotel Supervisor needs to be fired for not doing their job

Very quiet

Cons:

Shower curtain bar was loose so the shower curtain would not stay closed. Toilet was so outdated felt like I was sitting on the floor. Bathroom sink dripped constantly. The sheer window curtains were so old they were dry rotted and ripped. There was a broom leaning against the front counter when you walked in the door that no one bothered to put away even after I said something. There was no need to cable the flower pots because they were so hideous no one in there right mind would steal them. And for the love of God, mow the grass.

Late night run at the lake... I slipped in at 4am and slept soundly until 8!! Staff was pleasant and efficient!

Marijuana smell inside the bathrooms by the check in desk quite often, same with out at the pool. Catholic radio station

Pros:

Close to many services. Walmart right across the street.

Cons:

Smokers smoked right outside both front and back doors…this included staff. Housekeeping services left much to be desired. They did restock us fairly regularly but didn’t do much cleaning of our room.

Would not recommend and will not be back

Liked the location as it was close to where our job site is

Cons:

The hotel reeked of marijuana, do what you want in your free time but people travel with children. The hotel rooms were not up to date for the price per night. The furniture was dirty, the carpet was stained, the curtains were stained, the shower curtain rod was barely hanging on the wall you couldn’t even close the curtain, the curtain itself had black mold or grease not sure at the bottom. I didn’t even let our children bathe here. The spare room had no vent or airflow so it was very hot.
