A beautiful hotel in a beuatiful location. Unbetable.
Pros:

Unbeatable location - you're staying in a castle on the Rhein! Very attentive staff - on arrival, before checking in, a staff member saw us pull up the car park, 100 m from reception and down a slope, and drove his golf cart over to us to take our luggage to reception. Wonderful food, wine and bier taken on the terrace with the river below.

Cons:

There was nothing that we didn't like. A small fridge in the room would have been a nice addition, but the lack of a fridge certainly isn't a complaint.

Beeindruckende Location
Pros:

Die Burg war sehr beeindruckend. Die Zimmer sind sauber, das Frühstück war sehr gut und in toller Atmosphäre. Als Gast kann man auch im "Museums"teil stöbern. Vor der Burg sind ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten. Ob es bei starkem Besucherandrang des Restaurants eng werden könnte, vermag ich nicht zu beurteilen. Trechtinghausen an sich ist nur ein kleiner Flecken.

Perfect spot for exploring the Rhine Valley
Pros:

Beautifully appointed - a historic building but all finishes were new and modern. Incredible location and views. Plus the tour of the castle was a treat! And the onsite restaurant was delicious! (Be sure to have afternoon tea on the terrace.)

Sehr aufmerksames gastfreundliches Personal. Besonders im Restaurant trotz vieler Gäste und Stress extrem nett und zuvorkommend.

Wunderschöner Blick auf den Rhein von der Restaurant Terasse.

Sehr netter Empfang für unseren Hund mit Hundedecke, Napf und Leckerlis.

Cons:

Check out bereits schon um 11 Uhr. Abends der Bereich zur Burg mit Garten geschlossen.

Gute Lage, um Rüdesheim zu besuchen
Pros:

Die Lage ist wunderbar, direkt am Rhein. Bahnhof ist fussläufig erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet, Betten sehr gut, allerdings mit Plastikunterlage. Bad ist geräumig. Nachts ist es trotz der nahegelegenen Strasse ruhig, wenn man ein Zimmer zum Berg hat. Toll ist, daß man den Burggarten außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten besichtigen kann, das hat einen ganz besonderen Flair. Das Frühstück war gut. Sehr nett ist der Nachmittagssnack.

Cons:

Etwas enttäuschend war die optik des Zimmers. Nicht das Burgflair, daß wir uns vorgestellt haben. Beim Frühstück ist bei den Eierspeisen noch Luft nach oben. Eier Benedict waren hart. Leider bei drei Bestellungen. Gar nicht ok, das Püree, daß zum Hirsch gereicht wird. Das war nicht frisch aus Kartoffeln bereitet und hatte tütencharakter.

Ein entspannter Aufenthalt in Wohlfühlatmosphäre.
Pros:

Wir wurden absolut freundlich empfangen. Das Zimmer und das gesamte Haus sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.
Auf dem Zimmer gab es einen Hundenapf, Hundeleckerlies und eine Hundedecke. Das Frühstück hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.

Belo hotel, bela paisagem, ótimo café da manhã
Pros:

Começa com o atendimento, excelente. Os quartos são grandes, confortáveis, limpos e com uma vista espetacular. Café da manhã com muita variedade e qualidade superior. Estacionamento gratuito e fácil. O lugar é muito agradável. Obs. Servem gratuitamente um gostoso chá da tarde

Cons:

Difícil colocar um erro, mas a falta de um elevador pode ser uma dificuldade para quem aparece com muita bagagem.
