A bit expensive, but good rooms
Pros:

Great hotel, comfy bed, beautiful washroom and spacious rooms.

Cons:

The location was ghetto at night, there were homeless people around who stole things from us.

Overall a great hotel, that particulary strike with modern and spacious design/rooms, and a fantastic location.
Pros:

Great location, very modern, appealing interior design for both rooms as well as common areas.
Surprisingly spacious rooms for NY standard. Super comfortable bed!

Cons:

While the concierge was incredibly friendly, the receptionists could pick up their game a bit. For a premium hotel and an not exactly cheap rate per night, I would expect a little better hospitality.

If you seek a more comfortable stay in terms of noise, choose another place
Pros:

Easy to arrive from airport.

Cons:

Vent in the room was super loud. Our room was looking to a street super crowded. So there was a constant street-noise.

Bed was well-cleaned but the rest of the room was not.

One of the best!!!
Pros:

This is one of the best hotel to choose in NYC for the first time travel experience in NYC , if you wanna feel safe , everything is waking distance mostly and the service is amazing. And the view is breathtaking. This was a view from room 3410 - level 34

Buena ubicación, buenas vistas panorámicas de midtown, restaurantes interesantes en los alrededores
Pros:

Limpieza. Las vistas de la habitación. La ubicación del hotel es muy buena para moverse por la ciudad, ya que hay varios metros a poca distancia y está a medio camino entre el norte y sur de Manhattan. A 5-10min andando hay buenos restaurantes. El año pasado estuvimos en un hotel 5* cerca de Times Square. Por el mismo precio, en Renaissance Midtown tuvimos una habitación con vistas panorámicas vs. el año pasado una habitación más grande, interior y sin vistas; a todos nos ha gustado más este año (en Renaissance Midtown)

Cons:

La entrada del hotel está en un tramo de calle sin encanto alguno.. más bien un poco cutre. La recepción del hotel no está en planta calle. El tamaño de la habitación (2 camas queen) es un poco pequeño para 2 adultos y 2 niños, ya que el baño es pequeño y el WC no está separado del resto del baño. Como ocurre en todo Manhattan, cerca del hotel no hay demasiadas opciones para desayunar bien a un precio razonable.
