I recently stayed at Picnic Hotel Bangkok and had a wonderful experience. The location is convenient, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the overall atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. The staff were consistently polite, helpful and attentive, making sure that guests feel taken care of throughout their stay.
I especially appreciated how well-maintained the facilities were and how smooth everything went from check-in to check-out. This hotel truly offers great value for money.
I’d be happy to stay here again on my next visit to Bangkok. Highly recommended!
A clean hotel with great staff and good busy location. Breakfast is a good buffet. Dinner is ok. Staff very helpful and has good command of English,
The picnic hotel is worth the price because it’s a great location and good hospitality and will accommodate you. The buffet is on the property with many of options in the , Aommy gave me great customer service at the desk he greets with a smile and do whatever can to make your stay a rewarding one
Location is near to Pratunam area (20mins walk). It is on a quiet street, but a lot of restaurants, street food, 7/11, spa just few steps from the hotel. It's also 3mins walk to King Power, and 10mins walk to Victory Monument BTS. The room is spacious and clean and we had a comfortable stay for the whole week. Staffs are friendly and approachable. Breakfast buffet is not that vast, but can satisfy your tummy. They also have a few vegetarian options. Highly recommended for those on a budget. 👌🏻
We stayed at Picnic Hotel as a family of 3 for 2 nights. The room was very spacious and comfortable, but it’s definitely showing its age – most of the things are outdated. All the basic amenities were provided, which was nice, but the room we got didn’t have a balcony or any real view since the windows were frosted. Bathroom ventilation could be improved too, because every time we took a shower the glass fogged up completely. There’s no pool or gym here, but free Wi-Fi is available and worked fine during our stay.
The best part about this hotel is the location. BTS is nearby, there are plenty of 7-Elevens and coffee shops around, and Century Plaza is just a short walk away. If you’re on your last days in Thailand, this is actually a great spot to stay because it’s perfect for shopping and picking up giveaways before heading home.
Overall, it was an okay stay – nothing fancy, but you really can’t beat the location.
We arrived at the hotel around 9:00 AM, even though our check-in time was 2:00 PM. The staff warmly welcomed us and kindly allowed us to keep our luggage safely until our room was ready. Special thanks to the gentleman at the entrance — he was very friendly, helpful, and made sure our bags were kept secure. 👏🧳
We stayed here for two nights, and the location is one of its biggest advantages. It’s conveniently close to many shopping areas — Big C, Platinum Market, Indra Market, and Shopping One Mall — all within about 1–2 km, so we could easily walk to them. 🛍️🚶
The room was clean and comfortable, and whenever we requested cleaning, the staff responded quickly. The hospitality here is excellent, especially from the doorman who not only greeted us warmly each day but also helped us pack our luggage into our van when leaving. 🙌😊
We had breakfast buffet on two days — while the variety was not very large, there was a decent mix of Thai and international dishes, enough for a good start to the day. 🍳🥢
Overall, for a 3-star hotel, Picnic Hotel Bangkok offers excellent service, cleanliness, and a prime location for shopping lovers. Highly recommended, and a big thank you to the staff for taking such good care of us! 🙏✨
Rangnam Street holds a special place in my heart, and I have had the pleasure of staying in several hotels there. Our most recent stay was at the Picnic Hotel, a popular choice among Filipinos. I would describe our experience as satisfactory. The room was spacious, although it could benefit from some maintenance, such as addressing the chipped paint, wobbly closet doors, and worn furniture. The breakfast offered a decent variety, sufficient to satisfy, but not particularly memorable. I trust they will consider improvements in the future.
However, the staff were truly wonderful, exuding warmth and hospitality, always eager to assist. I especially commend the receptionists for their consistently welcoming smiles as we exited the elevator.
The hotel's location is ideal, with convenient access to the Victory Monument station and several 7-Eleven stores. Numerous food stalls and cafes are nearby, and it's also a short walk to King Power Rangnam.
I would recommend this hotel to budget-conscious travelers who are not overly concerned about the ambiance.
I have satisfied all.
thank you for youe kindness
Location was good because it’s close to Platinum, Big C, December’s, Centralworld. Had no problem walking. Sidewalks are wide. A lot of spa, 7/11, street food stalls nearby too
Staff are very helpful and respectful. Accessible to shopping malls, easy to use the BTS , close by restaurants for delicious Thai foods.
It’s nice hotel, good breakfast daily, helpful staff
Convenient location, near BTS, friendly staff, bedroom fairly basic but clean and comfortable. Didn’t eat there as so many other places we wanted to try. Used Grab taxis. We were there at the earthquake but not in the hotel. By the time we got back in (late evening) you’d think nothing had ever happened. Recommend as somewhere to stay and sleep
We were warmly welcomed by the staff when we arrived. They explained about the buffets available and were knowledgeable about transportation we could use. Any questions regarding places to go were quickly answered. The room was very clean and well appointed.
We were based in Bangkok for a month and we planned to stay here for a week, but we kept coming back because it was such a good experience.
Thailand is already well known for its warm hospitality, but the staff at Picnic Hotel are top tier. They patiently and earnestly helped us with various issues we had with our ever changing plans. They fielded phone calls in the middle of the night, they managed last minute extensions and date changes etc. effectively and cheerfully.
I want to give special mention to: King, Kan, Nim, Au, Off, Praew, Sea, Bird and Wee.
There were still other people who were excellent whose names I didn't get. The door men also went above and beyond what I expected.
The hotel rooms themselves are good. Clean, comfortable and not cramped like some others in the neighbourhood. The restaurant has reasonably priced buffets for all meals.
The location is excellent. Picnic Hotel is is the middle of RangNam Alley. It is a lively street with everything you need within walking distance: street food, produce vendors, restaurants, a supermarket, convenience stores, massage shops, cafes, a really cool park (Santiphap Park), a laundromat, a dispensary, pharmacies, a huge duty free shopping centre as well as regular shopping malls.
Friendly staff
Went to their Buffet restaurant for dinner. Very mediocre food. No Thai dishes! We were expecting atleast a few Thai dishes and when I asked the waiter, he did not have a clue. Some dishes were cold. The deserts were full of sugar. Not recommended.
Housekeeping staff was amazing. Replaced items as needed each day and cleaned room.
Check in process was easy. Arrived around 8:30am to hotel; able to complete checkin process. Room was not available until about 1pm. We were able to leave our luggage while we explored until room was ready.
Everyone in the hotel were friendly and approachable …..
The location was great for us. There was a 24 hour coin laundry across the street. Also, a good sized 7-eleven store. It’s walkable to King Power, which has duty free shopping and dining options. There is a park nearby. The breakfast buffet was included, but it was just okay. There are a lot of public transportations in front of the hotel like taxis and tuktuks. I would stay @ Picnic Hotel again.
Had a good and fun time at Picnic.highly recommended.will come back again.
