The staff is a great to deal with at the property. The grounds is another asset to the hotel as it adds for a peaceful atmosphere.
It was a great place, but the air conditioning or fan wasn't working but they fixed it swiftly. Good customer service. Clean facility. lol

Though I was skeptical to stay in Haatso, but I enjoyed every bit of my stay @ the Oriental Hotel North Legon.
You would not even realize and/or feel the hustling and buzzing for Haatso; ‘cos it was very quiet and really relaxing there.
The staff are phenomenal. They are attentive and swiftly ready to assist you.
The way Natalie welcomed me during checkin was so warm, I knew I was going to enjoying my stay there – the sure did not disappoint.

Oriental Hotel is a place to come and relax while doing business, touring or just to enjoy Ghana. The staff is excellent and willing to go above and beyond to help their guests. The grounds are outstanding and is very pleasant to the eye and gives one peace. The rooms are clean and great water pressure inside the bathroom. Also, the hotel is near a couple of eateries within walking distance. Thank you my pleasant stay in Ghana.

First room no A/c, Next room No Fan No A/C small bed small room, No TV, Next room no A/C but got fixed second day, same as TV, No hot water for baths, for the entire stay.
The hotel could be great but it is sadly lacking in room maintenance. The staff there try with what they have to work with. The grounds are very beautiful and well maintained. Unfortunately the room equipment is in sad need of repair.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel. The location was secluded and the grounds were kept very neatly. All of the staff was friendly, especially Rosie and Nisi. The only recommendation I would give is that the hotel staff make it clear that airport pickup is an additional fee. If they send a car to pick you up for the airport, you will have to pay the hotel for the taxi service. Do not pay the taxi driver unless you want to give him a an extra tip. Other than that, I would love to visit Ghana again and this hotel will surely be my one of my top choices.
Customer service is seriously needed making sure things are working both in and out and what is advertise about the hotel must manifest .

I had a good experience. The hotel and services offered are normal, nothing out of the ordinary.
I booked this hotel because it was very cheap but regretted it after my stay. The place has the potential to be nice but there are several factors I didn't care for. First it is very hard to find. I arrived with family who knew the area, but when I tried to get back in a taxi they had trouble finding it each time even after my brother gave them directions. We had to call the hotel repeatedly to get directions and even then it was difficult for him to find. Getting a taxi from the hotel requires quite a bit of walking since it is several blocks away from a main roadway.The first room I was given looked very dingy and there was dried blood on the sheet. I asked for new sheets and the receptionist couldn't find any. He asked to know how much I had paid for my room then said he couldn't move me because he didn't have more rooms in that category and would have to charge me more for a better room. I told him it wasn't my fault that he didn't have clean sheets and that I wasn't paying for a better room when he couldn't deliver a clean version of what I had already paid for. He really didn't want to move me but eventually he did. I ended up in a different building (the place is quite large). The room was much nicer but the wifi network is bad if you aren't in the main building and I wasted quite a bit of data before realizing this. The breakfast included with the room was quite nice , but I definitely won't be staying here ever again.
The stay was problematic to say the least. Problems with reservations, etc. Not happy.
The AC didn't work, and was super hot and sweaty in the room.
I was very satisfied with the services from this hotel. Benedicta aswered my calls with respect and was able to answer every question I had.
My room was ready upon arrival and in-fact, a very clean and comfortable room; which had hot water in the private bathroom.

I saw this hotel on expedia and was curious and wanted to try after having a less than satisfactory experience in Aburi. I was pleasantly surprised with the location, grounds, cleanliness and the initial hotel staff. I must say that the restaurant staff was pleasant and had great food prepared based upon request. I even had a great experience with the groundskeeper and nightwatchman which adds to the pleasantness of the hotel. My bad experience with the hotel came from one individual only and I will only use initials to describe the situation. BA constantly harassed me thinking that I booked the hotel online and thought I made up the transaction. I explained to BA that I booked on Expedia and showed the confirmation number for two nights and booked another night before my night flight back to the US. BA wanted me to pay in cash and I explained and showed the text message which gave the confirmation, but stated to me that the hotel network was down! I stated how can this nice place have network problems, when my phone internet connection is working fine. I hope the hotel management can address this issue as I refuse to be humiliated when I paid in full! Also a request was made for a copy of my passport in which I complied but I had to find this same person about 20 mintues later walking around with it. I found all of this suspicious given I was stern about the two transactions for the hotel. I want to stay there again, but I will not if this is normal treatment to guests!
