Pros:

Staying here was like staying in a beautiful apartment; its quiet and lots to grab to eat in the area; underground parking! Right across the street from plantlife cannabis; a&w and more! Managers were very polite and very wonderful to deal with.

Pros:

The two bedroom condo was well laid out and had everything we needed for our stay. The washer/dryer in the suite was a bonus. The suite was mostly clean and orderly and the beds were comfortable. Parking was ample and we didn’t have any concerns in that regard. The floor in the bathrooms had an odor like it had been washed with a dirty mop, but we purchased a cleaning spray and wiped it down. The major issue we had with the property was noise. In the complex is a pub. On Fri/Sat night it was busy and they had vehicles and loud groups creating a lot of noise until approx 2 AM. The complex also has a Tim Horton’s. While handy, this also created a loud noise issue between 6-8 AM. Nearly EVERY vehicle in Ft Mac must have upgraded exhaust because traffic noise was ridiculous and everyone wanted to hear their own exhaust note as they accelerated from the parking lot. Sounded like a drag strip most times of the day. Our air conditioning wasn’t working so we tried opening the window, but had to close it due to ridiculously loud vehicles. Sleeping was not very restful.

Pros:

The hotel itself is nice enough - basic but clean units however due to its locators incredibly noisy. Cars racing past all night, trucks starting up in the early hours of the morning, back up alarms going. Fir this reason alone I would not stay here again.

Great place , great location !
Pros:

I stayed here while working on site and it is set up perfectly for the out of town worker.
The suite is basically a one bedroom apartment that is well equipped and even has an in suite washer/dryer.
The location is excellant with lots of restaurant options and shopping in the very close proximity.

Pros:

Very good location and the suites are in excellent condition. My only complaint was that the cooling system appeared to not work well but opening a window was the solution to this to bring the temp below 25C.

Good for the price
Pros:

The mattress was a bit too soft for my husband and I but was comfortable. The hotel is fine and the fact that they have a heated garage and a kitchen is great. The cleaning staff was fantastic! The front desk not so much...Another plus is that is at a walking distance from Tim Horton’s!

Pros:

Room wasn’t very clean and the rest of the place was worse. No pictures on the walls to make it feel comfortable and there were no lamps in the bedrooms. Service was pretty much non existent on the weekend. The price was a little steep for what you get. On the plus side, the underground heated parking was nice (dirty but warm) and the WiFi worked great.

Nice Suite, away from downtown
Pros:

Very quiet and clean suite. A bit away from the downtown core and industrial parks, but also away from the constant noises of downtown. Overall I would recommend East Village Suites for the traveller looking for an apartment style suite, away from downtown but still close to dining and other amenities.

Nice apartment hotel
Pros:

Nice spacious suite. Very pleased with the cleanliness in the rooms. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were a little frustrating, I had to go up and down to the front desk 3 times because the room key was not programmed correctly. The fire alarm went off so I scrambled to gather my important things while trying to keep my kids calm. We rushed out the suite, saw cleaning staff in the hall, who did not say a word. A man came around the corner and told us it was just a drill. I complained to the front desk about not receiving notice and it was like pulling teeth to even get a simple sorry.

Nice place except for parking
Pros:

Did not realize that the "hotel" was actually a condo complex in a strip mall, so had difficulty parking my crew cab truck and 20 foot trailer. For most the parking both above ground and the underground is sufficient.
Just a heads up for those who have bigger trucks and trailers, parking here is not impossible, but can be tricky when the strip mall is open and the above ground parking lot is full.

Difficult to find & access
Pros:

Difficult to find. Had put in my GPS and still missed turn offs. Once found facility was very nice. Only complaint is Bed was far softer than I'm used to and woke up with stiff back.
