I booked this hotel expecting a 4-star experience with good amenities, as shown in the pictures. However, to my shock, it turned out to be a 3-star hotel. I booked a Fern Club room, and the bathroom was filthy, with a broken hand wash, a dirty toilet bowl, and dusty sofa furniture. The sofa covers looked like they hadn't been changed in 50 years. The rooms were not well-maintained, so I had to call room service to clean the toilet and replace the bedsheets, which hadn’t been changed. During dining, water was served in tumblers with fungus underneath, which was concerning. The property is not well-maintained and requires significant improvements in cleanliness, condition and overall upkeep.

The property is in a good area if you are visiting Somnath. This Fern hotel was not as good as the other Fern hotels we have visited as the general areas are not clean and very stuffy as there is no central ventilation in the corridors leading to the rooms.

They asked for additional details and requested payment when it was already done. Please review details before asking. Also, the rooms were not clean. You pay a premium price for a crappy hotel. Doesn’t deserve a 4 star rating.

Room was not clean, there was dust on the floor, no hand towels were provided, rather they said they are out of stock, bath towels were very old. overall experience was disgusting.
Even HOTELS.COM the room was booked at a higher price than the Hotel.
Overall experience was not good.

We stayed in Fern Gir Forest Resort few years back, had really great time there. Was expecting same quality, service and cleanliness at The Fern Res. We were very disappointed. Hotel rooms were not very clean, room was very small, bathroom smelled. Overall, did noy enjoy our stay.
