Hotel Rosario Lago Titicaca

Estamos profundamente agradecidos con el Hotel Rosario Sur en La Paz, Bolivia, por la extraordinaria hospitalidad y profesionalismo que recibimos durante nuestra estadía.

Originalmente teníamos reservadas dos noches en el Hotel Rosario del Lago Titicaca. Sin embargo, debido a los bloqueos de carreteras y la situación política que afectaba a La Paz y sus alrededores, nos fue completamente imposible llegar al lago. En medio de esa situación tan difícil e incierta, la cadena Rosario tuvo la enorme gentileza de trasladar nuestras noches al Hotel Rosario Sur.

Desde el momento de nuestra llegada, Omar, Henri y Víctor nos recibieron con una cordialidad, profesionalismo y calidad humana verdaderamente excepcionales. Gracias a ellos y a todo el equipo del hotel, nos sentimos seguros, tranquilos y acogidos como en casa.

Las habitaciones estaban impecablemente limpias, las instalaciones eran sumamente cómodas y acogedoras, y todo el personal —incluyendo cocina, recepción y servicio de limpieza— demostró constantemente amabilidad, eficiencia y un servicio de excelencia.

En medio del caos generado por las protestas y los bloqueos en la ciudad de La Paz, el Hotel Rosario Sur fue para nosotros un lugar de refugio, tranquilidad y descanso.

Nuestro grupo estuvo compuesto por ocho personas hospedadas entre el 15 y el 20 de mayo, y todos coincidimos plenamente en la excelencia del servicio recibido.

Recomendamos este hotel sin la menor reserva a cualquier persona que desee hospedarse en La Paz. Honestamente, no tenemos absolutamente ninguna queja sobre nuestra experiencia. Solo palabras de gratitud y reconocimiento para todo el equipo del Hotel Rosario Sur.

Nossa família gostou muito. O hotel é exatamente como nas fotos. O quarto que ficamos de frente para o titicaca então o sol bate todo o dia deixando o quarto bem quentinho. As camas são bem confortáveis, é um silêncio maravilhoso para descansar a noite. Simples, rústico, mas atende perfeitamente. A comida do restaurante tanto no café da manhã quando no jantar, muito gostosa também. Um café perfeito para quem gosta! Funcionários prestativos e gentis. Estacionamento grande é do quarto conseguíamos ver nosso carro. Vamos voltar, pq mesmo sendo pequena, Copacabana tem bastante coisas para explorar.

I see some earlier reviews that are not great. We arrived for one night after crossing the boarder from Peru 2 couples. Everything was great beautiful spacious rooms overlooking the lake. The rooms were very clean. We did have a bell boy take bags to our room (there did not seem to be an elevator). We had dinner and the services were a bit slow as we were there off peak. In general Bolivia is not busy for tourists at this time they are still getting up to pre covid levels and it was a reflextion on accomdation not being as busy throughout our trip.

If you have crossed the boarder into Bolivia and have onward travels through Bolivia
( we had 9 or so nights in different locations) this is the best location to change up money. We struggled to change in other locations unless it is a bank which took a lot longer. We found the walk to the main street hard as you are at high altitiude but its not far. Maybe 200m but if you walk down the lake way there is a less of a hill to get to the main street depending on where you want to go.

Ubicación excelente en Copacabana. Habitacion decorada con gusto y con detalles andinos, muy amplia y con vistas excelentes al lago. Desayuno muy bueno también. El hotel tiene parking privado y pudimos dejarlo incluso un par de días extras mientras visitábamos la isla del sol y de la luna.

Creepy place, first hairs in the food, then dirty sheets, and finally a spider in the car

Horrible hotel, one of the worst I've ever seen on my travels. I don't usually post reviews, but this time it was too much. The cleaning staff was very, very bad. They stared accusingly at my partner and daughter while they were in bed as he cleaned the room repeatedly. The cleaning they did in the room was also awful; they only cleaned what was visible and not in detail as it should be for the price we were paying. The reception was very disappointing. The two receptionists were very curt and direct, with no friendliness whatsoever. Similarly, the restaurant staff couldn't explain the breakfast menu. We would ask for something, and they would tell us that what we were looking for was on the table where the breakfast buffet was displayed, without any helpfulness in pointing us in the right direction. There was also a problem: there was no hot water. We were without hot water for almost our entire stay. In short, the hotel is nice, with good facilities, but the staff is inefficient and lacks ethics.
