Major construction work going on in the room next-door till later in the evening
Breakfast was ok for price. Filled up but eggs with cheese were little rubbery probably made early and we ate shortly before end of breakfast. Pancakes were good from machine never gave trouble like several others I used before. Only complaint really was jams and cream cheese were all mixed in one bowl had to sort through several to find jam I wanted. Coffee from machine worked but a little more weaker than I liked. But I wasn’t expecting Starbucks either
Hot tub was closed wasn’t advertised when I purchased. Was looking forward to it after 12 hr drive so would have possibly went to different hotel if known prior to booking
It has a great location for our need for doctor appointments and surgery. I will suit our needs for relaxing and for after the surgery soon. I will be staying again.

A nice variety of options. Staff was very helpful. Motel was very quiet.
Can't think of anything.
Clean, comfortable beds. Only issue was the thermostat which was digital wasnt displaying and we want to heat the room up 1 or 2 degrees so we had the guess. It turned out good. Notified the front desk and they were willing to move us to a new room but we waited to see what it was like after we increase the temp to a reasonable.and comfortable temperature. Worked out👍
Good location
Room floors were dirty and the chairs.
Our room had dirty sheets on the bed when we first arrived. Got those replaced. Thermostat would not work and was in Celsius. Went to take a shower in the morning and found mold on the shower curtain. Went to front desk and asked for the room to be cleaned while we were out for the day. Came back late afternoon and the room was not cleaned. Took the hotel about 30 minutes before house keeping showed up.
Good location close to Medical facilities I needed to be at for 2 days. Nice motel amenities. Good breakfast and 24 hour access to coffee. The room had a strange feature though. There was a “monster” in it. The furnace sounded like a growling beast when it turned on to run and ran very loudly. It kept us warm but it woke us up when it started at night. Staff were nice but some did not know for sure what we said to then because of not having assimilated to USA primary English language.
I really do not know where to start. On Saturday, November 15th, when we returned to our room for the evening, my wife found three crunchy, dead ladybugs, two in the windowsill and one on the floor. The kleenex box cover was sitting below the sink and was empty, the paper coffee cups were used, the hand towels hanging in the bathroom looked used, as they were not fresh like the other towels. We tried to watch television, but there was no signal, which was that way our entire stay (I have to wonder if they paid the bill). It would have been nice to have a working television, as it probably would have drowned out the noise of the people jumping in the room above us and the barking dogs down the hall. When we woke up in the morning, the room was quite cool, but when we tried turning up the heat, the thermostat was non-functional.
I realize that there was a hockey tournament in town, but one should have a strategy when placing groups with putting them on the lower floors and non-group guests on the upper floors as not to disrupt their stay. Which should be a basic concept when you are in the hospitality business.
I gave the experience a one, only because the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and said that he had called his boss regarding the television situation. We were told that she would call it in and let him know a time frame of when it would be resolved. It was never resolved during our stay. So at first, I thought it was a line that he was giving me, but then on Monday, November 17th I called to speak with Krista Olthoff, GM of the property, twice, both times I was told that she was in a meeting or at an appointment. Tuesday, November 18th, when I called for a third time, I was told by the woman answering the phone that she was in, and she asked who was calling and what it was regarding. I told her it was in regard to our stay on Saturday night. When the woman returned, she stated that Krista was in a meeting and could I leave her my information. So I did as requested. I asked that Krista return my call that day (Tuesday), I wanted to give her a heads up. Well, it has been over 48 hours now, and I am still waiting for a call-back, so now, I am giving her the same or better (I did try) courtesy that she gave me.
We paid for a clean room with a functioning television, a working thermostat, and new/unused amenities, not a used or slightly used room with debatable functioning, new/clean amenities. I hope that your other Microtel properties are not managed this poorly.
The staff are helpful
The rooms are clean
The shower is not full force needs some update
Breakfast fair no napkins but a roll of rough oaper towel
Its a pet friendly place but no poop bags available in stands
Needs some updates on rugs
The location was decent. That was the only positive thing about this gawd awful motel grade dump. That's actually being generous.
Do not stay here. Do not give these people your hard earned money. They do not care if you are happy there or enjoyed your stay.
Bathroom floor was sticky. Like they cleaned it with soda pop. I wiped it down a few times with cleaning wipes...not better. Went to the front desk to ask for cleaning products, his response was to move me rooms. After we got settled and unpacked. I said I just wanted the floor to be cleaned. He did come and clean it.
The hot tub/jacuzzi advertised on booking.com is what they will call a spa and tell you it's working fine & is as advertised. The Jets in the hot tub jacuzzi do not work. It's basically just a hot water filled tub & it needed a goos clean
The carpets both in the room & the hallways were ripped, piling & stained.
A family of 3 adults & 2 children check in and were put in the room above us. The kids were running back & forth, jumping off the beds, thumping & making a heck of a racket. The picture on the wall was moving from them jumping. I went to the front to complain. He said he'd ask them to stop. I asked if we checked out a day earlier than scheduled would we be charged, explaining that the cost of the room is far too high for the experience. I expressed our extreme disappointment & frustration. He said he'd speak to his manager. The next day, we heard nothing. Not wanting to pack our room & fight with the hotel be cause we reserved two nights, we decided to stay. My husband went up front to speak to the same guy who was there and we both talked to & advised that we were staying but he was not happy an wanted to discuss a discount with the manager. The guy said he'd speak to his manager but refused to call when my husband asked him to call them right then. The last night was same, loud jumping kids above us. Nothing done
The hotel is old, dirty, stinky & the staff clearly do not care about their guests or the experience. The advertising on this site is extremely misleading, its barely above a motel off the highway in the middle of nowhere.
Location and the beds were comfortable.
The lamp was burnt out and the bathroom was not fully stocked.
Good breakfast
