Great location and helpful staff.
Pros:

Amazing location on the lake front. Comfortable beds and good food restaurant.

Cons:

Shower water pressure was low and bar and restaurant service was sometimes slow.

Two motorcycles in kaslo on tour of western Canada - this is a SUPERB place to stay
Pros:

Great location. Excellent property Good history. Spacious room. Loved the balcony. Staff at front desk and in restaurant were top notch Special kudos to Frank at the front desk. And Lexi in the restaurant. Wonderful wonderful. Excellent food in there too for dinner and breakfast.

It was like a step back in time. A very friendly community.
Pros:

What I liked the most was the quaint old western style of the hotel. I felt like we were in an old western movie. We sat out on the wrap around balcony until the late hours and again in the early morning with our coffee and watched the community come to life. It was wonderful.

Cons:

Nothing, everything was wonderful.

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in.
Pros:

Frank was very helpful and we enjoyed talking to him. A lovely location in the town and walks in the area for all abilities. We had a super room and it was nice to have a kettle and coffee maker, along with China mugs and teaspoons supplied. The best hotel on our 16 day trip through the Rockies, would certainly recommend to friends.

Cons:

Nothing at all to dislike about the hotel, staff and restaurant food.

Pros:

Die Lage und ein kostenloses Upgrade hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Ausstattung passt in das Örtchen Kaslo.

Cons:

Der Fischgeruch aus dem Restaurant ist im gesamten EG zu riechen und zieht über den Fahrstuhl auch in andere Geschosse. Abends okay, morgens nicht.

Perfect for a peaceful getaway
Pros:

The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The beds are very comfortable and there is a lovely restaurant right on sight.

Cons:

Nothing. It is the perfect spot to take a break from everyday life and enjoy wonderful food, friendly people and a glorious view of the lake

Lovely place to stay when works are completed.
Pros:

Beautiful old hotel perfectly restored. View was spectacular.

Cons:

Works being carried out on balcony next door. The drilling was like being at the dentist. Would have liked to have been informed/given a different room or offered free breakfast or dinner. Realise maintenance has to be carried out, but no mention of this when checking in. They gave $25 off at checkout when I complained, but felt this could have been better.

Pros:

I like everything in Kaslo, but it's the people that make the Kaslo Hotel awesome, especially the Waypoint staff.

Cons:

Due to a previous guest not knowing how to close a window, the first night was a rough sleep with a rain storm. Kinda tent like.
