Great location, free breakfast
There is construction going on outside.
Overall it was nice. Room was spacious and clean.
Our disappointments were we arrived at breakfast at 8:50 am and they were out of eggs, bacon and different items and when i asked it they would be replenishing bar i was told no. That to us seems unfair since they say breakfast is form 6 to 10. Also when i went to check out i was charged for parking, that should have been disclosed up front. It just seems there is add on after add on.
Everyone was very nice.
I was charged extra for parking. That was a hidden fee. I asked where to park and I was told it was the hotel parking. I assumed hotel parking was not an extra charge.
Beautiful building and the staff was very friendly.
The shower water pressure was very weak.
The rooms were well kept and very big!
The parking
Location is Great for everything on our schedule.
Rooms super small
I paid for a room with an window they gave me a room without one I spoke with the manager she told me they were out & they gave me what they could I paid high for a room that I didn’t want very dissatisfied
It was close to Bartle Hall and breakfast was included. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were very nice.
There was constant traffic that night, which we heard throughout the night. The room next to us also had people coming in and out all night. So, nothing dealing with the hotel but frustrating, nonetheless.
Everything
Nothing was wrong
Only complaint is the pillows are too small and thin like a pancake
Even with two queen beds and four adults, the room felt spacious. We were not bothered by noise and found that it was easy to adjust the room temperature to our preferences. The shower had good water pressure, although it would have been nicer if the water temperature had been a little hotter.
The breakfast offering was disappointing all three days we were there (one weekday and two weekend days). The posted breakfast hours were 6AM to 10AM each day - yet by 9:30 each day there was almost no food left. The first day even cold cereal was not an option because the only milk available was chocolate. The oatmeal pot was scraped clean, and the bread and pastry options consisted of only two chocolate muffins, a single English muffin, and a slice of white bread. There were three pieces of sausage and a few eggs. In the 30 minutes we were in the dining area, not a single employee was present to restock, inquire about getting milk (or anything else), nor empty the overflowing trash receptacle. I received a text that afternoon from the hotel asking how my experience was going so far, and I was honest about the breakfast experience and also shared that when we got to our hotel room the previous afternoon, we discovered a soiled washcloth lying on the floor next to the toilet. I received a response thanking me for my text and offering apologies and a promise to share my concerns "immediately with management." According to the text, my loyalty is valued, and they wanted to know the best time to "connect so we can discuss a proper service recovery." I explained I would be available in 45 minutes when I returned to the hotel. No one ever made an attempt to reach me after that. The remainder of the stay went ok, although the breakfast experience did not improve and we ultimately dined elsewhere, which diminishes the overall value of our stay since we basically paid for breakfast multiple times.
I would suggest not staying here period. Their parking lot is very unsafe as there has been multiple reviews of cars being broken into. My friend and I were attending PAKC (Planet Anime). We first checked in, our door was cracked open for 102. The door doesn't shut if you do not force it shut. I really do not like the barn sliding door for the bathroom, there is no way to lock it. The overall room was clean which I appreciated that. Saturday night, my friend and I spent over 10 hours in cosplay, standing in lines for hours at con. The one thing I personally wanted, was a hot shower. The water never warmed up and I let it run for 15-20 mins. I had to have a bird bath in cold drinking water temperature. The management is crap for this location. They texted me wanting to setup a time to talk. I told them 7 pm as I would be free. They ghosted me. They didnt want to make it right at all or just listen to me.
