Pros:

The pool and hot tub was very clean.
The staff was very nice and knowledgeable.
Hotel very close to event we attended.

Cons:

It is a small thing.. person taking care of breakfast area sun morning seemed very out of sorts when waffle batter empty.

Fine for one night.
Pros:

The location is great, it was clean.

Cons:

Clean but dated. Breakfast was lack of choices and quality. No fresh fruit, 2 oatmeal packets, limited cold cereal.
We paid double because it was 4th of July weekend.

Great place, dirty carpet
Pros:

Very quiet ands comfortable rooms. Central to most everything. Only complaint was we had a crawling baby with us and the room carpet was very dirty and making the baby’s knees and feet black.

Pros:

Old, but clean and functioning. No elevator but, only two floors. Maybe invest into a valet cart lift? Lighting in toilet/shower bleak. Could use a night light. First time ever at an AmericInn. I’m a fan.

Comfortable beds, quiet and an above average breakfast for a roadside hotel chain. Staff were all very friendly and kind

Is it really a bed or plywood?
Pros:

We thought we were upgrading from another hotel in town that we had stayed at for 7 nights. We were definitely wrong - we’ve only been here 11 hours and are booked for three total nights. The good…lady at front desk was so nice and helpful when we checked in at 7:15 pm. Lobby area is very welcoming. The bad…carpet in the room feels dirty/wet under your feet. The beds are extremely hard. I am used to a firm mattress, however, this mattress is like plywood status. Talking to my son this morning, he said he woke up more tired than when he went to sleep. I read in past reviews the beds were comfortable. I am not sure what beds others were mentioning. I woke up to an alarm going off this morning at 6:15. It did not stop until 6:25. I wanted to bang on the neighbors door to wake them up as that woke me up! Laying here with a terrible back ache kept me from doing so. It’s going to be a long two more nights in this hotel. We are definitely switching hotels come Thursday. I am certain we will go back to the two star hotel-the beds were more comfortable and the carpet was new in the room. If you have no back problems, this place is for you.
