Staff were friendly and great ! Room was big and clean. Dehumidifier in room was perfect for temp control with the Iowa heat thanks ! Pool and hot tub 10/10 ! Will definitely stay again !

Clean and friendly.

Our visit started off with ringing the bell and then waiting 15 minutes for the front desk person to come out. She just said she was working on something. We had three rooms. In our room, there were maybe 50 long, dark hairs in the shower and Orange finger prints on the bed. (Think Cheeto fingers) It required all four of us to figure out how to connect the cable to the tv so that we could watch something. In another of our rooms, the tv never worked. In the breakfast area, the refrigerator was broken so there were no chilled options like yogurt or milk for the cereal. It appeared to be poorly kept up and run down. Unfortunately, this seems to be the only hotel option in town, so we had to suck it up, buttercup.

Power was out, but they handled it well.

We had a kitchenette and loved it.

Trouble with the shade but staff quickly fixed it. Nice breakfast with low carb items.

The American Inn in Iowa Falls is a comfortable, clean motel providing decent sleeping accommodations and a good breakfast.

The property was clean and well-kept; the room clean, comfortable and spacious; and that staff were fabulous. They offered a nice light breakfast and the desk staff were very helpful.

Good staff and clean rooms we stay here two three times a year

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Sausage gravy with biscuits, bacon, sausage links, scrambled eggs and pancake machine. The check in process on line was very long and I felt like they asked for a lot of unnecessary information. I was disappointed with the condition of the hotel. We stayed here 6 years ago and NOTHING has changed. Our room door was very heavy and hard to open. You had to slam it to get it to lock. The toilet was sluggish and had to be flushed twice every time. I was afraid it would completely clog off. The credit card reader on the vending machines weren’t working. The pool was enclosed but not heated so it was still very cold. Unfortunately there aren’t many choices in hotels and this is still the best option if you want to stay in Iowa Fallls.
