Serious Security Issue Ignored by Hotel
Cons:

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. During breakfast on Sunday, 22 March, my bag was stolen while we were all seated at the table. The table was not unattended at any point, which makes the situation even more alarming.

When I reported the incident, I clearly told the staff that I was sure my bag had been with me at the breakfast table. However, instead of taking this seriously, they suggested that maybe I had left it in the room and asked me to go check there, which felt dismissive and unhelpful.

What’s even more frustrating is how the hotel handled the situation overall. We were told that the cameras could not be checked because the manager was not around. Instead of taking immediate action, we were informed that a police report had to be filed first before they could even consider reviewing the footage. To my knowledge, there should be a security manager responsible for CCTV surveillance who can take quick action in situations like this, but no such support was made available.

We were simply given the address of the police station and had to go there ourselves to file a case, without any assistance or support from the hotel staff.

The staff’s attitude was very concerning — they seemed almost used to this kind of situation, as if it were something normal. There was no sense of urgency, responsibility, or reassurance offered to us as guests.

This experience made us feel unsafe and unsupported. I would strongly advise the hotel management to improve their security measures and, more importantly, how they respond to serious incidents involving their guests
