Novotel Diyarbakir

I have to say that this hotel really does not deserve 5 stars. The air conditioning is extremely weak, which made the stay uncomfortable. It’s also the first time I’ve ever seen a broken hair dryer in a so-called 5-star hotel.

Another major issue is breakfast. Although it officially starts at 7:00, by 8:30 most of the food is already gone, which is very disappointing.

Overall, the experience was far below expectations. In my opinion, this hotel is not even at a 4-star standard.

Thus has got to be one of the worst 5*****hotels me and my husband has ever stayed at. There was no breakfast included in the daily rate of £127. I had 1 breakfast ( Turkish breakfast) for 600 TL which is £12 - it was poor as I went at 7am you would expect everything to be fresh, However it wasn’t, the only item fresh was the boiled eggs. No one to serve you and coffee in paper cups. They advertise international cuisine , no such thing . I asked for spaghetti bolognaise was dry tasteless , no tomatoes sauce no herbs garlic , completely tasteless and I had to ask for Parmesan cheese, and my husband kebabs rice and chips was equally unpalatable. The shish kebab was in tiny hard pieces which were inedible and cold , chips were overcooked and hard. Everything was sent back . We were offered something else but I didn’t want to take the chance . So wd went hungry as the hotel id not near to the town centre .
Swimming pool size not as pictured in the adver the size is ; /5 times smaller. So I didn’t get to use it. No toilet brush in our room bathroom and hand soap nr sink empty. Some of the staff were lovely , polite and friendly but there were others that were very miserable and unwelcoming. We the hotel 2 days before our stay expired I fact we left Dyarkanir 2 days before the original booked leaving date as the accommodation and the city was not very comparable with visitors from European countries would never stay at this hotel again or visit Dyarkabir . I would rate this hotel 2star

We had an excellent stay at this hotel and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Diyarbakır. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was superb, offering a wide variety of options, from fresh pastries to local specialties. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, providing a peaceful and cozy environment to relax in after a day of exploring. Overall, our experience was exceptional, and we would definitely stay here again. If you’re traveling to Diyarbakır, this hotel is a fantastic choice!

General Manager is very much involved in everything. Always asked if everything was ok, if we needed something.
The staff is very good. Everybody is doing their best.
The housekeeper Hanife deserves special thanks. Always smiling and very good and fast at her job.
Overall, it was a good stay and İ will definitely come back.

This is an excellent hotel with fantastic hospitality. It is across the road from a shopping mall, which is fantastic! It is very close to the unesco historic city centre. The food, spa facilities and extras (e.g pillow menu) were all superb!

The manager and staff made us feel very welcome and were helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The shopping centre next door to the hotel has lots of options for food and great shops. I will stay again on my next trip to Diyarbakir.

Das Hotel benötigt dringend eine Erneuerung. Das Wasser im Badezimmerbecken läuft schlecht ab, sodass immer Reste im Becken zu sehen waren. Das Bad/Zimmer wurde nicht gereinigt nach der ersten Nacht. Gym wurde wegen den Feiertagen erst um 11 Uhr geöffnet welches nicht bei der Buchung erwähnt wurde. Hätten wir diese Info vorher hätte ich ein anderes Hotel ausgewählt .
Das Frühstücksbuffet war mager. An einem Tag gab es keinen Kaffee zum Frühstück.
Das Spa welches wir besucht hatten um ins Hamam zu gehen waren veraltet, dreckig und das Hamam wie auch die Sauna war ausgeschaltet obwohl wir einen Termin hatten. Die Enttäuchung war groß.

Clean room, smiling people, prices are ok. Rooms are good enough comfort. Breakfast needs significant imrovement in variety and quality of food. Spa is low quality in rooms, musüc, noise, light. People are friendly. Bali massage girls are moderate quality. It is good to be open till midnight. No cafe or bar at the hotel to spend time outside the room. No alcohol policy is not good. I could not get wifi at the hotel. Phones are not connected to services of the hotel. You have to connect via reception.

The staff were absolutely amazing, the customer service was excellent, the hotel itself was very beautiful, all facilities and amenities you could ask for are provided.
