Grand Wahid Hotel Salatiga

This hotel is always a choice when visiting Salatiga. Clean and renovated. But don't go to the pool because they rent it out to the public, it's like a market, full of outsiders. The water is yellow. The AC control didn't work and the wind kept coming out. If you add blankets, unlike other hotels which are free, this hotel is charged 100 thousand by the receptionist.

Nice hotel located in a nice location in Salatiga. The hotel exterior looks grand and bright. The rooms are spacious and clean. Unfortunately, we got a room in which the bathroom door could not be closed. It just seems too small for the frame. And when we reported it, we were told it was supposed to be like that. The price is reasonable.

Number Wahid means No.1 !
Seems that is the best by far in the city.
Location is in the heart of the city.
Always fully booked.
Nice room & toilet.
But never take any breakfast inside as I have many option breakfast outside in the city. The facilities are Ok.

We stayed here in the weekend. The room was big enough with sofa and table. The room was clean. The breakfast was also good enough. The swimming pool was also good. Service also good enough. The location is in the city central. Nothing special, but we had comfort stay here.

the water cleanliness need to improve, as we want to enjoy the bathtub in hotel room, the water is brown in color, I need to flush more than 10 minutes, to have a clean water, this issue encountered by my colleague too, Room 606 and 604

The water for shower has visible black particles. The water in the bathtub becomes light brown.

Like : city centre so its easy to buy food, etc.

At the heart of the city, close to shopping precinct. The outside painting is starting to fade needs new coat of paint. Gym facility needs major upgrading

Location is so strategi nearest to town and easy to go around

Very satisfied staying in this hotel. Clean room, good location, friendly staffs, delicious food. Check in was smooth. Good wifi. There are alot of street food around the hotel. Sate sapi Suru and wedang ronde Jago is only 3 minutes walk. Unfortunately the room is not sound proof. The neighbours are very noisy, screaming and slam the door, very disturbing. Recommended hotel.

really liked this hotel, got pool view rooms, clean rooms, bathtubs, koraoke club, gyms, varied breakfast, friendly receptionists, in the middle of the city, lots of culinary, close to bandungan, semarang, cool air.

I have no problem with all of their facilities and the hotel too, cause all of works normally. But one thing that i hate so much and i think i never want to visit this hotel again. Since we came for a family trip we bring a baby, and as usual baby will be crying when want to sleep right? But the management of the hotel call my moms room and telling that this baby disturbing another room, and at the night the baby doesn’t crying at all. But suddenly the manager came to my room and suggest us to move in the other room, isn’t have professionally i think.

Travelled to Salatiga with family and stayed in adjoining rooms. Check in was smooth and speedy. Most impressed with the room size, cleanliness and facilities, especially a huge bath and soft white towels! Free WiFi.
Tea, coffee and water were provided. Very efficient refrigerator in the room. Adequate lighting, which I found pleasing as some hotel rooms are very dark. On ground hotel parking spaces were unfortunately all occupied. Ideally located in the central business and shopping area of Salatiga. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.

first time visiting this small and peaceful city, finding this hotel is a great surprise.
spacious room, clean and tidy, friendly staff, nice food, great location, in the heart of salatiga city. many hawker foods just in front the hotel. must be aware of hotel occupancy rate since many conference held on this hotel, earlier booking is better.

Easy to find in the middle of the city.
Clean rooms and cleans bathrooms make me feels comfort to take a rest.
Swimming pool with whirlpool suit for children.
Nice view from the room, merbabu mount and fresh air good for our lungs

I was check in sep 07, 2017 and check out sept 08, 2017. I got 2 room (number 203 and 204). I got cockroaches in bathroom 204. Room clean poor, and i got noisy. And that make me verry disappointed : i know hotel time for check out 12.00 am, when time 11.45 i was still in my room to preparation my bag etc, and hotel's employe press bell of my room, i open the door and he said : "hello sir, this time for check out". I see my watch 11.45, and i said, give me 5 minutes for check out.
"Hello, THIS IS IMPOLITE for hotel 3 stars."
This is first time for me, hotel send employe for extrude their guest !
I often stay in grand wahid since 2008. But now, because this problem, oh sure i will never back to stay in grand wahid again.

We attended a 4-5 day conference here. The facilities are nice and they have a nice pool area with an aviary and very nice landscaping. The buffet of Indonesian food is good, but this American really liked the omelet station! At least one hotel staff person spoke passable English and they were eager to please. Security was good and the area seemed safe also. In room Wi-Fi was reliable , but a bit slow compared to US. The hotel provided bottled water (very nice) each day. Some of the room furnishings - wall paper, shower curtain, etc were a bit worn and the toilet "ran" the entire stay. We would stay there again.

A good overall hotel. Clean, good location, with a helpful and friendly staff. Great value. Beautiful grounds and pool. The pool is used by the locals so you can get a large number of children using the pool. The meals here were delicious.

We stayed there during the holiday eid. The rooms are clean and good standard. Pool are nice for relaxing , also there is nice small Jacuzzi. Hotel serve good food and staff hospitality is above average.

Actually, I stay here because I have meeting for university. I like this hotel. Nice pool and nice room also. All room with AC. Really confortable when you stay here. Easy go shoping center. Just walk and You find Ramayana Departement Store.
