Insgesamt entspannte Auszeit in Groningen!
Pros:

Sehr zentrale Lage und sehr freundlichen Personal. Auch das Frühstücken war entspannt und lecker.

Cons:

Might stay again but would want another room.
Pros:

The location is fabulous. The staff is accomodating and very friendly. The common area/breakfast area is amazing. If you have a meeting and just need coffee this is a wonderful, cozy room. The bedlinnens were very clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a coffee/tea set up in your room, which I always appreciate! Unfortunately there was tea bags but no tea cups. You could use the coffee cups but the water setting overflowed in those.

Cons:

Our room was very tired. There were big rips in the carpet and the carpet itself was quite stained and dirty. The shower had mold in the grout and hair in the drain.
There were no accommodations for loading your mobile. There was one accessible outlet in the room and that was not bedside. My daughter had an apple watch and mobile that meant we couldn't load anything else.
The view from the room was horrible but it was really quiet.
Check out is 10:30 which is uncommonly early but they have a very nice common area you can use downstairs.

Vergane glorie
Pros:

De centrale locatie is subliem. Vanaf hier kun je lopend de gehele binnenstad verkennen. De gemeenschappelijke ruimte beneden is heerlijk met gratis thee/ koffie. Personeel is aardig en behulpzaam.

Cons:

De gehele ambiance: vergane glorie. Het is een prachtig pand dat een schitterend boutique hotel zou kunnen zijn. In werkelijkheid doet alles oud en muffig aan met hierdoor een te hoge prijs voor de kwaliteit die wordt geleverd. Het licht vanuit de gang scheen zo de kamer in, verlichting in de kamer was gebrekkig, raam kon niet goed open/ dicht.

I stayed at this gorgeous little hotel full of character, perfectly tucked away in the heart of Groningen. From the moment I arrived, I was met with the warmest of welcomes, thanks to genuinely helpful and friendly staff who made everything feel effortless. The atmosphere was cosy and inviting, blending charm with comfort, and its central location made exploring the city incredibly easy. A truly memorable stay that felt personal, relaxed, and wonderfully welcoming. Each time I visit the city this will be my number one choice.

Komfortabel im Zentrum des Nachtlebens.
Pros:

Wir wurden sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend begrüßt und betreut. Das Bett war Spitzenklasse und das Zimmer samt Badezimmer sehr großzügig.

Cons:

Für unsere Bedürfnisse war die Lage, direkt im Zentrum der nächtlichen sehr lauten Feiern, nicht gut.

Zeer fijn en goed hotel in het centrum van Groningen. Personeel is vriendelijk en klantgericht. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Aanrader!

Cons:

Bedden zijn aan de harde kant en er was helaas geen keuze aan hardheid van kussens.
