Great hotel in Bakio and great location. Convenient parking across the street
Pros:

Great local run hotel in a great location. The rooms are of excellent standard and it’s right across from the beach. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and very welcoming.

Unbelievable location, stylish hotel and fabulous home cooked breakfast.
Pros:

This hotel is far better than a one star. It is so stylish and has been restored and renovated to an Extremely high standard. Yes, the hotel may lack a pool, 24hr hour concierge and a restaurant for evening meal but this is part of the rustic charm and it suited us perfectly. No frills but everything done well and to a high standard.
The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is a stones throw from the Beach.

The breakfast was the highlight- served and cooked by a charming, charismatic and friendly man named Unai. He went above and beyond to welcome us and cater to our needs including being Gluten free. Thank you Unai.

L’emplacement au bord de la plage avec parking gratuit juste en face
Chambre moderne très propre et agréable avec une terrasse
Petit déjeuner exceptionnel préparé et servi par le patron ou même les petites viennoiseries sont faites maison le tout avec vue sur la mer

Parfait si pas de canicule
Pros:

Hôtel face à la plage avec accès direct sur la promenade, restaurants et commerces à pied. Gaztelugatxe à 3kms

Cons:

Pas de climatisation, petit déjeuner qu'à partir de 8h30 et 20 € par personne, nous ne l'avons pas pris car nous voulions partir tôt pour Gaztelugatxe à cause de la chaleur

Das familiengeführte Hotel liegt unmittelbar an der Strandpromenade. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend. Besonders der Koch ist sehr freundlich und bereitet ein super Frühstück, welches aus ökologischen Produkten der Region besteht. Parkplätze sind auf der anderen Straßenseite verfügbar (ab Juni gebührenpflichtig), jedoch ist am Wochenende viel los und der Parkraum ist begrenzt.

Cons:

Leider haben die Zimmer keine Klimaanlage.

perfect for a short stay with easy access to airport & Bilbao
Pros:

Hotel is located right next to the beach, also next to the A3518 bus stop which goes directly to Bilbao, friendly staff and clean facilities, very sort walk to some bars and very nice cafes!

Cons:

the en-suite “privacy” between the bedroom and bathroom was NOT very private !! you could see right in when someone was using the toilet or shower 🤔

El hotel es precioso y muy bien decorado, la habitación que nos han dado ha sido muy bonita y sobretodo el baño super estético. Muy moderna y con luces muy agradables con distintas opciones. La cama muy muy cómoda y todo muy limpio. La localización fenomenal, hemos aparcado en un parking gratuito (en mayo) justo al lado del hotel q esta en el paseo marítimo. El desayuno todo muy bueno, productos caseros, de calidad y proximidad, el personal de desayuno muy atento. Las pastas artesanales y parte del desayuno que te cocinan al momento. Por esta parte todo excepcional!

Cons:

Por indicar algunas cosas "malas", diriamos que por el precio que tiene la habitación y la modernidad que se deja ver (panel para no molestar, luces con el panel también...) nos pareció muy fuerte que no tuvieran aire acondicionado en la habitación. Estamos a 26 de mayo y ya hacía un calor muy fuerte, tuvimos que pedir ayuda en recepción. El chico, muy atento igualmente, nos indicó que no tienen aire pero dejan algún ventilador de pie... nos fue a buscar uno a una habitación vacía y nos lo puso en la nuestra. Igualmente, no es lo mismo un aire acondicionado que un ventilador de pie con bastante trote....
Por otro lado, el desayuno es de buena calidad, aún así consideramos que un precio de 15€ pp, por ejemplo, ya estaría bien... 20€ es excesivo cuando realmente tampoco es un buffet de toda la vida que puedas coger lo que quieras de todos lados. De todas maneras, no hay nada que envidiar a ese tipo de buffet, solo destacamos que el precio es demasiado para lo que es... No sabemos también si en temporada alta hay mas personal, pero para toda la gente que estaba desayunando había solo un hombre atendiendo e iba un poco desbordado, comentado por varios comensales.

Ubicación frente a la playa. Estuvimos a mediados de mayo. Habia bastante gente, el agua un poco fria, pero hermosa.

Cons:

Eramos un grupo de amigas. Reservamos 4 habitaciones.
Solo una de ellas tenia aire ac y frigo bar, capsulas cafe
Las otras no.
Hacia mucho calor.
Todas habiamos pago lo mismo por la habitacion, pero tenian distinto confort.
Mi habitacion tenia puerta de baño de vidrio transparente. Estabas en el inodoro con poca privacidad !! Muy feo

Schitterende ligging aan het zandstrand van Bakio met mooie gerenoveerde kamers.
Geweldig ontbijt alles vers gemaakt volgens wens.
Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, zowel aan de receptie als in de ontbijtzaal.

Cons:

Helaas geen lift, geen airco, geen kluisje en geen ijskastje op de kamer
