Brief stay
The suites were perfect and reasonable price.
The lobby where breakfast was served it was extremely hot.
Clean and reasonably comfortable. Good breakfast. No creepy guys hanging around- as i’ve experienced in other locations
A bit noisy from other rooms, especially above
Location was convenient.
We have stayed at this Residence Inn before. No 2 visits have been the same.
This one night visit was on a cold night. Our room was very clean and well stocked. The king bed was a little hard. The room was warm, but stuffy if the fan wasn’t running.
The breakfast was pretty good. I didn’t care for the tv and how loud it was, both at breakfast and after breakfast was done. We sat in the lobby for a bit before leaving the hotel, and the loud tv on a news station was distracting.
I don’t know the name of the clerk who checked me out, but she was rather rude. I see in past reviews that there have been complaints about the staff, but apparently this hotel is not inclined to replace the staff that customers have complained about. So if the same rude staff will be there, I will consider taking my business elsewhere. I have been to dozens of different hotels over the years, and a kind, helpful employee, especially at the front desk, can make all of the difference. They represent the hotel, after all.
We had the 2-bedroom king suite, and it was a great space. My husband and I had our own bathroom off the master king bedroom. Our three boys had their own bathroom. Two boys slept in the other bedroom in a queen bed and one slept on the pullout couch. Having a full kitchen and table and chairs was a bonus also. We would definitely stay here again.
Really things were very good, we just ran into a few small things- the AC wasn't working very well, it was 72 in the room; we turned it down to 66 and it didn't cool off for several hours. The pull-out couch didn't have a mattress pad but there were extra sheets and blankets. Breakfast seemed very early so we did not get to eat breakfast. We also arrived very late at nigth and let the kids sleep in a little.
I love the idea of roasting marshmallows on the fire pit the easily accessible pool and the hot tub which is the reason I went to begin to get a good warm soak after a long work week
I got to the hotel at 4:15 in my room still wasn’t ready. The front desk receptionist was not nice. She was very rude to me as if it was my fault that my room wasn’t ready when I booked. I said I needed the room ready by four I had to wait my room was not ready until 445. I was not offered any apologies. I was just told I could either wait out there or I could just wait to be checked in There was no apologies. Not a discount was offered nothing just rudeness. I didn’t like the fact that we did not have access to the pool. We had to go to the front desk person to get into the pool and she was very rude. The hot tub is no longer there. It was removed, but when I called and when I looked online, it said that they had a hot tub and a pool. I just don’t like when things aren’t upfront. If it’s not there, please don’t tell me it’s there because it looks like it’s been gone for a couple of months nowI just like for people to be completely honest so that I can make my decision. The hot tub was my reason for going completely. It was not OK. The worst part is this isn’t my first time staying at this hotel I’ve stayed here multiple times and it was always great this time. I don’t even know if I would ever go back.
Dear Hotel Management,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to share my recent experience during my stay at your hotel, which was unfortunately quite disappointing due to the behavior of your staff, particularly Anita. From the moment we arrived, Anita never greeted us with a hello or made any eye contact, which came across as very rude. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident, as other staff members also displayed similar rude behavior.
My family was already going through a challenging time, as a member had just undergone surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. When her daughter went down to get some snacks, she was met with numerous questions from the staff and was told to go to a gas station down the street, which was both unprofessional and unkind.
I have stayed at your hotel numerous times, and each time, Anita's customer service has been consistently lacking. Her rudeness and unprofessionalism have not improved, and it is clear that her customer service skills need significant attention.
It is unfortunate that we will not be staying at your hotel again due to the staff's behavior, as we genuinely like the hotel itself. However, this experience has left us with no other choice. We will also be contacting the corporate office to address the rudeness we encountered from Anita and the other staff members. I will say Donna & Lisa were amazing when we had breakfast the other staff needs to learn from them on Customer Service and how to treat people.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope that steps will be taken to ensure that future guests do not have to endure the same experience.
Beautiful property, gorgeous room. Perfect for personal or business travel. I highly recommend
Everything was lovely
Everything was great except the bathroom was inconvenient. We had an accessible room, so there was no pan to catch the water from the shower so it went everywhere. Minimally, they need to have extra towels in that room. They also need towels hangers and shelves to put your clothes and stuff. Just a few small improvements would be a bed help. The room phone was also not working.
It would have been 5 but I have a few issue's. One, we're not here for fun. I fact we're here because my husband is having a medical procedure at 6:30am tomorrow morning. So, we're here from out of town and over night for less than 12 hours so he prepare for it. We had to pay FULL PRICE! 430.00/USD even after asking for the Cleveland Clinic patient discount upon check-in. Receptionist stated that she couldn't do that because it was a "Pre-Paid" rate? I've been able to get the discount credited to my card the last we stayed, with the same kind of reservation.
Staff was so nice, bed was really comfortable and my car was safe even all packed full of stuff!
Marriott elite member for over 20 years. Made a reservation with a pet, checked in told front desk I had a pet. She said she would deal with it later. We there less th an 24 hours my cat is who was confined to the bathroom the whole stay. I checked out with my dog pet right there and after dealing with an emergency, didn’t notice the pet fee wasn’t on my bill- not sure what the lady at the desk is supposed to do. 15 minutes later got an email
My bill was updated to include a pet fee and a misc $200 Charge for cleaning up after the pet.. Marriott corporate said to w $100 Fee covers pet cleaning (shampooing the rug and steaming the curtains) so no idea what the $200 charge is for. To boot I left a tip for housekeeping. Manager won’t answer the phone despite being mid day. I’ve disputed the charge and started a case with Marriott. Stay away. Too bad I didn’t read the reviews before hand.
Very nice sitting area, convenient
No bacon at breakfast
All plumbing fixtures loose and wobbly when trying to turn them on. Dishwasher leaked all over floor. Charge for smoking in nonsmoking room added to bill (we are not smokers). When we challenged desk clerk over charge he said he had no authority to remove it until we threatened consumer complaint to Ohio Attorney General.
