When I arrived, I was greeted by a very friendly gentleman. He asked me how my day was and I said I’m exhausted and cannot wait to get in bed. He worked very quickly to get me checked in and my keys. When he gave me my room, I said oh gosh, I’m a single female. I’d really prefer to not be on the first floor. He very quickly moved me to another floor and I said the one problem is I have a severe down will the room you move me to need to be changed out? He said yes I see that here that you have a down allergy. I said well that’s weird that you see that but you didn’t see that my request is always a high floor. He agreed. So he moved me and said he would bring me new pillows. When he got to my room, I asked him about the remote control because it’s very hard to change the channel. He told me he would check to see if they had any other remotes in house that he could bring me because he agreed it shouldn’t be that difficult. He returned with two bottles of water that he had told me he would give me a check-in and we both forgot to get and said that he could not find any other remote remotes, but he was waiting to hear back from maintenance and would let me know. When I started to unpack, I realized that I needed to use a pants hanger to keep the curtains closed because the first few hooks are not attached to the curtain rod and I am not 8 feet tall and can’t attach them myself. As I put my stuff in the shower, I looked down and there’s an enormous spot in the tub. I don’t know whether it’s dirt or a stain that they’ve tried to get out anyway the floor of the shower needs to be replaced because it’s disgusting. I went to plug in my watch to charge and turn the light on the desk lamp on. It was so dusty and had a sticky feeling to it. As I got ready for bed and brushed my teeth, I noticed the counter around the faucet looks like it’s never been wiped down. The two hooks behind the door don’t even exist. They look like enlarged sewing needles. They would never hold a towel or sports bra. After being at the gym! I’m afraid we have a case of the lazy housekeepers here. If you notice in the picture of the shampoo conditioner and body wash bottles, the body wash and the shampoo look eerily similar and when I pumped them out, they have the exact same consistency and scent. I don’t know about you, but I really don’t want to be washing my body with shampoo. Also, there is no lotion on the counter! Do better housekeeping team! You can see the attached pictures to know what I’m talking about in these situations. I had to call the front desk and ask what channel the basketball game could be found on because the very old time scrolling channel guide said it was on channel 19 went in fact it was on channel 23. Overall, this hotel needs an upgrade. It is very WORN and tired and even the TV software sucks. I stay in a lot of Fairfield Inns and this one is by far the worst in a long time! The sad part is I haven’t even been here in the morning to review breakfast. And I know there are areas of torn carpet and stuff in the common area, but I did not take pictures of them because I didn’t realize I was going to have to do this review. But this hotel is so bad. I didn’t want to wait until the morning to post this review.
I didn't even get to stay there. Took my money and said I wasn't even booked
Nothing
I didn't even get a chance to stay there they said I didn't have the room booked
Quiet location, fast check-in
Peeling wallpaper in the room, small pieces of trash in the hall not picked up or cleaned from our check-in to check out, loose toilet seat, dirty areas around the bathroom molding and shower head was full of calcification. Weird spraying.
Front desk very helpful. Very nice breakfast selections.
One elevator was very slow to close and moved slowly. Another guest commented she didn't feel safe in it and we avoided it too
Okay
Did not price match as was on web site and didn’t give a military discount as was told. Will not book through again
I ask for single bed room. I got room with 2 bed. This the 3 time this has happen. We are same-sex marriage couple. I think went I check in and they see two guy. They change it. I don't know this until I get to the room. I don't complain. But maybe I should start.
The location
The refrigerator doesn't stay on which is ridiculous u have to reset it @ 2hours!!!!! Not sanitary to store ur food.
There was very little staff interaction. They didn't seem to care much. I am 73 years old and was struggling to get my belongings onto the cart and up to my room and no one offered to help. Housekeeping removed the towels and washcloths I used, but didn't replace them so I had to do without the next day. I slipped and fell in the tub because there was no mat. And the poor housekeeping staff had to push huge, heavy carts that they could barely move. The TV and remote were seriously outdated and difficult to use. This place needs a serious overhaul.
Quiet location
The bed pillows
The breakfast did not have basic slices of bread for toast. The eggs were surprisingly good, but the pork sausage made both my wife and a bit sick. The waffles seem to be an inferior quality from what have experienced previously. If we ever stay at this property again (which is not highly likely) we will not have the breakfast. The breakfast is the principle reason why we decided to stay here versus another suite designed hotel.
Breakfast quality. TV remote did not work to access the channels in the guide (channel 98). The desk staff person was non- welcoming and did my check- in and check out like a automated robot without warmth or cordialoty.
Spoke very soft and extremely fast which caused me to ask him to repeat himself several times.
