Pros:

The staff in the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. She offered to make coffees every morning and the coffee actually was better than what I expected.

Housekeeping staff was very kind as well.

Cons:

It should be non-smoking hotel. The non-smoking signs are everywhere. However, guests holding cigarettes walked freely in the hall.

There was no staff helping with luggages. Yes there was always a man standing at the front gate. But he wasn't greeting to anyone even no eye contact. I'm not sure what he was exactly doing. LOL.

Compared with other Shangri La hotel in Beijing, Tangshan needs a bit improvement in management.

Such a nice hotel with many people doing their best to make you very happy with your stay

Room cleanliness and decor. Breakfast spread. Wi-Fi connection.

Cons:

The receptionist questioned our choice of bed for my spouse and I. The janitor of the changing rooms was very abrupt (shouting) to my spouse about leaving before the pool closing time. The management later apologized. Assistance at arrival with baggage. Improved staff training.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel with beautiful garden view. staff is friendly and the lobby is to die for. I didn’t lose any of my belongings either. I felt safe. breakfast with diverse options 👍🏽👍🏽

World First Class Hotel
Pros:

I spent a wonderful weekend with my family at Shangri-la Tangshan. The hotel is located downtown. The room is tidy and clean. We enjoyed the welcome fruit very much. High-speed Wifi and fancy gym&pool. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were friendly and helpful.

EXCELLENT
Pros:

This hotel is pretty new in a good area. Everything related to this proptery was solid, easy check in/out, nice lounge area/lobby.Everything (room, gym, and lobby) was clean and nicely laid out. I will stay here again for sure.Russian,GRO,welcomed us and introduce hotel facilities, she was kind and so helpful.
