Wonderful and Cozy
Pros:

I really like Potts Point, although it's not in the heart of the city...a plus for me. Very friendly, great restaurants, walkable to downtown.

Love the coffee in the common area and the wonderful verandah where I often chatted with other guests. And I appreciate the elevator!

Cons:

I liked everything. Just be aware that you will need to negotiate a few steps.

Tiny rooms. Tiny bathrooms badly ventilated. Carpet unattractive. Old air con. Old towels. Bed average and low owing to size of room.

Pros:

The facade is beautiful
Nice touch with free tea/coffee available in lobby.
Staff were nice
Loved the black and white with iron railing. Very beautiful
Bed (king) was very comfy with nice linen and pillows. Lighting options in the room were good, low/med/high light options and windows had blinds with sheer curtain for privacy and light during the day. Nice area with restaurants, cafes and woolies metro within 5min. Bus stop on main road. No parking for Uber so they just drop you in the street.

Cons:

Even king room is very small with nowhere to have open suitcase.
Bathrooms in need of updating and retiling. Cracks in tiles in shower and grout stained and pealing off.
Visible signs of age and use.
No surfaces in bathrooms for toiletries or to hang hand towel or bath towel near the shower. Shower door has 2cm gap either side so water goes everywhere in the bathroom.

Windows dont seal letting in cold, and noise as rooms dont block much sound. Wind rattles wooden window frames at night, and you can hear everyone coming into the hotel and everyone at the restaurants down the street.

Staff came with leaf blower at 9am while we were trying to have breakfast on verandah. Could have waited for 5 min for us finish up.

EL HOTEL es precioso muy bien decorado. El barrio victoriano muy lindo y muy cerca (1.5km) del Opera House.
Desde o hacia el Aeropuerto llegas en bus y tren sin problemas.
tenían cafe y agua en el recibidor.
después de las 20.00 hrs se cierra la puerta y entras solamente con tu tarjeta de la habitación lo cual lo hace muy seguro
habitación pequeña pero pensé sería peor. Muy acogedora.
