Grand Hôtel Du Palais Royal

Wonderful hotel with above average customer service. The hotel was in the best location, very quiet street even though it's close to everything including steps from the Metro. The staff was all very friendly and able to answer any/every question. The fitness center was very clean as was everything in the hotel. Had a surprise welcome amenity when I arrived which was just icing on the cake of an incredible visit. Highly recommend this hotel!

The location was perfect and the staff was amazing. It rained almost every day we were there and they had umbrellas at the ready for us. They moved quickly to get our room ready when we arrived early.

My wife and I went to Paris for our 29th anniversary. The hotel was the best service we have ever had received. Everyone you interacted with from the front desk, concierge, restaurant staff, and house keeping were amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel for the experience, location, and value.

Brilliant location within walking distance of the main places to visit. Staff very friendly and polite . Rooms and all areas spotless and tasteful. Breakfast excellent and again staff attentive and helpful.We shall definitely return on our next visit.

Everything was a 5 star stay from the moment we stepped in the door until we left. The staff welcomed us every day. Let us utilize the spa when we first checked in early. The cleanliness, comfort, architecture, scent and staff exceeded all expectations. I would go back today if I could.

We recently completed our second stay at the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal, and once again we had a wonderful experience.

Our last stay was almost two years ago. During the check in process, the staff immediately welcomed us back and went above and beyond to recognize that we had been past guests. This is top notch service.

The staff throughout the stay were all very welcoming and helpful. After checking in, we wanted someplace quick and easy for lunch. The concierge gave us a great recommendation the next block over. We enjoyed it so much that we went back for dinner our last evening.

As others have mentioned, the location is unbeatable. There is a metro stop (1 and 7) two minutes away and plenty of wine bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.

All in all, a wonderful experience from a hotel and staff that knows how to take care of its guests.

We had a wonderful stay. Very grateful for the upgrade and love the amenities and the wonderful staff especially Chloe at the Front Desk. Love the Steam room and breakfast.
This hotel is close to a lot of sights and restaurants and the Galleria Lafayette, Place Vendome, Les Halle……etc… excellent location especially if you enjoy walking and exploring!

We just got back from a wonderful trip to Paris. A crucial part of what makes a great stay is having a great hotel. The Grand Hotel du Palais Royal was a very exceptional and memorable experience for us. It was my first time in Paris and the staff really made it a very easy and enjoyable trip. From the first staffperson we worked with, Safira, to the several concierege, Germain, Christopher, and Lilian, to the restaurant wait staff to Lola, the customer relations manager, everyone was very helpful, attentive, and kind.

The check in process was quick and easy. Our room was clean and ready for us before our scheduled check in time. Room cleaning and room service were excellent as well. We stayed on the 5th floor. Our floor may not have been very busy, but if it was, we wouldn't have known as we didn't hear anything.

Serverl times, we needed assistance with directions and scheduling siteseeing. We received great help at each step. The tip to use the carousel entrance for the Lourve was spot on and very helpful, considering the alternative of standing in the rain.

Another helpful feature, which may be common at other hotels, but was still great, was the ability to message a WhatsApp number for questions I had. At one point, I was short on time and had asked if retrieving some butter from a nearby store was possible and to my surprise, they were willing to go to the store for us.

When it was time to leave, the concierege helped us with a 2-stop taxi trip to the airport. I am very grateful for how the staff treated us on our stay.

I will certainly stay at this hotel the next time we are in Paris. The price was very reasonable. I recommend that you try this hotel as well.

I stayed at the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal from February 2 - February 8 with a work colleague/friend. We were in Paris for shopping, sight seeing and professional social media content for my boutique.
Upon arrival, the front desk staff was welcoming and provided coffee during our check in. We were early (it was 10am and check in isn’t until 3pm) so the staff kindly offered us the use of the spa and showers to freshen up before we went out for the day. We were able to leave our luggage (it was delivered to our room, where we found it upon our return). We were surprised to have been upgraded from the small room I booked, to suite 402, which had multiple balconies, a massive bathroom, a living area with sofa, desk and coat closet, and separate bedroom — all overlooking the Emily in Paris office.
Throughout our stay, the concierge (Pierre-Jean and Germain) went way above and beyond to make our visit exceptional. Pierre-Jean even purchased and delivered two extra suitcases for us to use on our return flight.
We enjoyed the bar in the evening, and the breakfast buffet was very good.
The First Arr. was perfect for our stay — picturesque, in the center of the city, easy access to the metro, lots of restaurants within walking distance, but not too crowded.
I cannot express how grateful and happy we felt with our experience at Grand Hotel du Palais Royal. We will most definitely stay here again very soon.
