Tolle Lage mit Blick auf die Bay, freundliches Personal und saubere komfortable Zimmer mit wunderbarer Aussicht:)

Cons:

Schade, dass wir als Hotelgäste nicht mehr in die Tiki- Bar neben dem Pool dürfen. Nur Yachtclub- Mitglieder, auf dem Hotelgelände, direkt neben dem Pool. Kann ich absolut nicht verstehen … wir haben dort vor Jahren amüsante, wertvolle Stunden verbracht.

Great room and location but let down by incorrect advertising and no response to my wueries

The room was great and location great - a very good breakfast and dining businesses attached but not owned by hotel

Cons:

The advert for the property said it had a bar and showed photos in advert which it does not it’s now a private yacht club and was asked to leave the bar by them so it was embarrassing. They also said they had a food outlet near swimming pool don’t exist. Pool was not clean. Noise from some construction work.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Kingsize-Bett und Balkon gebucht, um einen angenehmen und erholsamen Aufenthalt zu verbringen. Leider entsprach die tatsächliche Erfahrung in keiner Weise unseren Erwartungen.

Zunächst wurde uns Zimmer 332 zugewiesen. Als ich die Balkontür öffnete, stellte ich fest, dass sich direkt unter unserem Balkon eine Hebebühne befand. Auf meine Nachfrage an der Rezeption, ob derzeit Bauarbeiten stattfinden, wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass dies nicht der Fall sei. Da wir unseren Balkon nicht mit Blick auf Baumaschinen nutzen wollten, bat ich um ein anderes Zimmer.

Daraufhin wurde uns Zimmer 232 zugewiesen. Eine Etage tiefer und lediglich ein Zimmer neben unserem ursprünglichen Zimmer. Zwar war der Balkon nun zur anderen Seite ausgerichtet, das eigentliche Problem wurde dadurch jedoch nicht gelöst.

Entgegen der Auskunft an der Rezeption begannen am nächsten Morgen und am darauffolgenden Tag bereits um 8:00 Uhr die Bauarbeiten. Die Hebebühne wurde in Betrieb genommen, und es wurde unter erheblicher Lärmentwicklung gesägt und gearbeitet. An zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Tagen war es uns dadurch nicht möglich, angemessen auszuschlafen oder uns zu erholen.

Ich meldete diese Beeinträchtigungen erneut an der Rezeption. Mir wurde zugesichert, dass man mit dem Manager sprechen und sich bei uns zurückmelden werde. Wir haben das Hotel inzwischen verlassen, ohne jemals eine Rückmeldung erhalten zu haben.

Darüber hinaus waren die Klimaanlagen im Zimmer derart laut, dass ein ungestörter Schlaf bei durchgehendem Betrieb kaum möglich war. Auch dieser Umstand hat die Qualität unseres Aufenthalts erheblich beeinträchtigt.

Super locatie. Vriendelijk personeel.Gratis fietsen. Op loopafstand zijn restaurant en de Golf van Mexico bereikbaar.
Wasmachine ($2) en droger ($2) aanwezig in gebouw, wasmiddel verkrijgbaar bij receptie ($2,10 per pakje)..
Tip er staat een magnetron om maaltijden op te warmen. Alleen neem je eigen bestek mee, dat was niet aanwezig.
