A nightmarish stay at Four Points Oran. If you’re looking for a place to rest, look elsewhere. Here, you’re served an explosive cocktail: constant harassment, a souk-like atmosphere outside your room, and such poetic remarks as “you have pretty feet” from corporate residents of one of the country’s largest companies. Charming, isn’t it?

At the buffet, these gentlemen behaved like a pack of starving piranhas. For a moment, I thought I was in a National Geographic documentary — except I was the prey.

After complaining (thank God I did!), I was “upgraded” to a sea-view room. Beautiful view indeed! Too bad the room supposedly meant as an upgrade looked more like an abandoned asylum than a Marriott… The photos speak for themselves.

And the cherry on top? A hotel employee actually told me to “dress more appropriately next time.” Yes, you read that correctly. In 2025, in an international hotel, we still get this kind of misogynistic pearls of wisdom. Bravo!

The only bright spot in this disastrous stay was the kindness of the reception and restaurant staff (thank you to them)… except, of course, for the genius who thought it wise to lecture me about my clothing, straight out of the Middle Ages.

In short: stunning sea view, disastrous human experience. It’s up to you if you want to take the risk.

Avis : Très déçue de mon séjour – je ne recommande pas

Je suis extrêmement déçue par mon séjour dans cet hôtel.
Dès l’arrivée, j’ai constaté un manque flagrant d’hygiène : la chambre était sale, les draps semblaient simplement refaits mais pas changés, et les parties communes laissaient à désirer.

La nourriture était médiocre, peu de choix et très peu de saveur.
Pire encore : certaines de mes affaires ont disparu, notamment des crèmes de soin personnelles laissées dans la salle de bain. Aucun retour ou solution proposée par le personnel.

Je ne reviendrai pas et je ne le recommande pas.

Hôtel avec vu magnifique , jolie chambre mais le service nul , plusieurs fois ils ont oublié de me mettre des serviettes je devait attendre des heures pour en avoir le room service catastrophique, ils ont exigé que je paye tout de suite le plat que j’avais pris alors que j’ai l’habitude ailleurs de tout mettre sur la chambre et tout régler à la fin aucun professionnalisme.

Quand on demande quelque chose on a l’impression de les déranger.
Et ils ont essayé de m’arnaquer au niveau du spa les prix étais affiché sur une pancarte et la dame m’a demandé le double du pris qui été noté, je n’ai pas voulu faire la prestation j’ai uniquement pris le massage et niveau propreté c’était pas ouf.
C’est dommage car l’hôtel est magnifique et moderne mais pour un 5 étoiles le service ne suit pas

Nice room. Staff is nice but not very professional as if they are not used to dealing with tourists. For example there were issues with the credit card payment machine. They expect you to pay cash in local dinars

Horrible Hotel, not worth the money. As a member of the Marriot i was very disappointed in this hotel. When we entered the room we did not find any towels, we had to call the reception to request them and when they brought them to the room. they were so old and used up...scary to see that kind of towels in a 4 stars hotel. The same crappy towels were used in the Hamam at the top floor...Don't let me start talking how dirty and primitives that hamam was. I paid over DA40000 for a queen bed room (2 people) which is too pricy for the service and the quality of that Hotel. Oran offer more choice...Please go somewhere else.
