Well situated
Pros:

Location is perfect as it's walking distance from many attractions.

Cons:

It got a bit noisy but I think it was because I was on the first floor. Nothing serious.

Pros:

O café da manhã não estava incluído. A localização é fantástica, perto de tudo que a gente precisa.

Cons:

Não sei se seria possível, o prédio é antigo, e um pouco escuro. Minhas amigas não aceitariam este hotel, embora eu tenha gostado da tranquilidade do hotel.

Room upgrade?? More like downgrade!
Pros:

Great location

Cons:

Room was very tired and dated. Peeling wallpaper, dirty and chipped paint, dust on furniture, very small room.
At check-in i was told I was not getting the room I booked, but rather an upgrade. The room was definitely a downgrade!

It suited my needs for a one night stay. Central location, close to shops and transport good shower, comfortable bed
Pros:

The location was very central to public transport and close to QVB and Town Hall. Service was polite and efficient. I was happy that my room was upgraded from single to king.

Cons:

It was a bit noisy but that’s to be expected in the centre of a big city. The room was very small but fine for one person.

Staff on desk rude
Pros:

Block out curtains so very dark and soundproof if you need to sleep during the day. There was a supermarket nearly opposite. Lots of shops and banks nearby.

Cons:

There was no microwave so couldnt heat up dinner. If you want accomodation with a pleasant view this does not have a great view.
The asian female staff members were unhelpful and giggled on both occassions when I walked away from their desk. I had to ask them where the taxi stopped and they reluctantly rang a taxi for me when i asked them to ring for me. They had masks on their faces but covid precautions are finished and I felt like they were germaphobic and were not friendly or professional. Also didnt acknowledge me as on their phones.
