Holiday Inn Express & Suites Carrizo Springs by IHG

When I arrived, I was informed the Elevator was broken. I get this and am understanding. However, I purchased a suite and got a single king bed room. While confronting the staff I was told there was nothing they could do about it. So I took the room available and carried my tools and luggage up three flights of stairs. My complaint is that it was not the room I purchased and Staff was a bit rude about it. In this location, rooms are $300.00 plus per night. I do not think it reflects on the chain itself. Was just a bad circumstance and I expected more for my money.

Also the room phone was broken and the AC made a horrible noise. Couldn’t call the front desk. Kinda felt like a setup. I was never rude throught my interactions. I just hope they get these things fixed.

Staff was accomodating and personable.

There’s not much around the property, but that’s because this is a small city… I would hope that it would be less pricey The next time we go for business.

The property is very nice. Ez check in. A couple downfalls... No sheets or bedding for the pullout sofa. Overpriced for the stay. Very disappointed that there was no hot tub when the website said there is. Main reason for renting the property was because it was supposed to have one.

For a property that boasts cleanliness, it was only mediocre. Our room had mold on the bathroom light fixtures and cobwebs on the walls and ceilings. The pool water was too unclean to enter. Otherwise, the place was pretty nice and the staff was warm and welcoming.

No milk at breakfast. Otherwise ok

Good location. Breakfast was good, hot and fresh. stayed in a room with a pullout and had to request bedding after check in. No trash bags in the bins, AC didn’t work great. Set to 67 and it turned off it 69.

Too pricey was suppose to have a double beds with fold out couch room was small beds were not queen more like full size cleanness was good but not comfortable too much outside noise hard to sleep

Good hotel, great staff.

First I am extremely grateful for the staff helping when I accidentally registered for the wrong weekend. I had driven 3.5 hrs and I wouldn’t know what to do if I couldn’t get a room. The next best things was the size of the room which was mostly clean. I also appreciate that it was quiet. Now the bad stuff. There was a large stain on the couch. The room key didn’t work. And the eggs were cold hard and dry. I guess I’ll forget these things in exchange for thanking the staff for getting my car when it was pouring down rain. Everyone was so helpful.

Staff were great. Property clean. Room smelled a little, not worth moving into another room. And it is overpriced. Over 300 for a room in a town less than 10,000 people seems steep, we have stayed here twice tho, so I guess if we are willing to pay it, then I can’t complain too much.

Wasn’t worth $300 a night. Nice hotel, but more of a 3 star. Not sure why it’s so expensive to stay in this area.

Me and daughter stay that the hotel one night room110 . And left there with all our body full of bed bits. I need to get a refund.
People are stay there and don’t even know.

WAY overpriced and no discount for the breakfast they don't tell you they aren't serving. I should've stayed at a little cheap motel it would've saved us and Bern just as comfortable. I won't ever stay here again
