Great location, awesome old pub
Pros:

excellent location to jump on a bus and 15 mins at QVB
easy to get home too as well, quick access from hwy for uber and taxi

The room was clean, shared bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

We had booked two rooms and due to illness could only use one. Even though the hotel was not fully booked they declined a refund on the unused room. Very disappointing

It was short but sweet and fulfilled my expectations.
Pros:

The room was adequate and the bed was comfy. I was only there overnight but the kitchen and bathroom facilities were very good and the staff friendly.

Cons:

I had an early morning departure and when I got downstairs with my luggage I couldn't work out how to open the door
until I just pushed the horizontal railings in the middle of the doors and it opened. I almost missed my taxi.

My stay in Sydney was brief and this hotel was just right
Pros:

The location was close to where my event was. I liked that it was a traditional pub with accommodation

Cons:

I’m not used to having to share bathroom facilities so that wasn’t good for me

Was ok but wouldn’t stay there again & wouldn’t recommend.
Pros:

Warm reception when I arrived. It was quiet in the evenings.

Cons:

The main light in the room wasn’t working. Water flooded the floor in one of the bathrooms, kitchen sink full of dirty dishes from other guests. Microwave didn’t seem to be working very well. Had to wait for a long time for hot water in shower. Carpet stained.
