We were very unimpressed.
Pros:

Very little: beds were comfortable, water was hot. There is little else positive I can say.

Cons:

Check in was time consuming and tricky with other people around.
The immediate vicinity was off-putting, to say the least.
The bath in Room 14 was almost inaccessible and unsafe for anyone over 5 feet tall.
There was very little space to move, but storage was good. There were no instructions for the heating.
The much vaunted 24 hour coffee was a tiny machine in the lobby. There was no breakfast.
But two other major issues stood out. I wanted to ask the "management" a question so I tried to email a reply to their welcome - except it was "No reply", so I tried to email a "contact" addresses at the bottom of the same email. The "system" did not recognise it as a valid address - so useless.
Then, in the middle of our second evening, the fire alarm sounded so we evacuated. And stood outside. The Fire Brigade arrived in excellent time and, we think, established that it was a false alarm. But, of course, there was no member of staff to explain, nor, more importantly, to check that everyone had evacuated, was safe and happy to return. That is a major, serious fault which I think should put off anyone with a mind to stay.
Sorry.
I rarely give negative reviews but, at this cost - and that DOES matter - and with these issues, I feel I have to.

Bahnhofsnah, erfüllt den Zweck

Sehr nahe am Bahnhof Basel SBB, einfach, unkompliziert.

Zentral gelegen.

Cons:

Habe als begrüssung erstmal einen stromschlag bekommen mit darauf folgendem Stromausfall im zimmer.
Danach einen neuen Raum bekommen.
Die 2 zimmer waren beide ziemlich heruntergekommen und etwas abgefuckt.

Heizung war fehlanzeige, habe in der Nacht richtig gefrohren.

Good location
Pros:

The room was nice and clean, good shower.

Cons:

We arrived late and could not see how to access the building. Luckily another resident let us in to be able to check in.

Solid for the money paid
Pros:

What you receive is exactly what you pay for. Basel is expensive, so for this price it’s exactly what you should expect.
Location is great though and for a short stay when you only sleep in the room this is a great choice

Cons:

One of the sheets had a huge hole in it and we had to exchange it.
