Alexis at the front desk was incredibly rude. Her lack of customer service skills ruined the trip. I booked a room with breakfast. When I came down to inquire about the breakfast, she told me I had to pay. I explained that I booked a room with breakfast and showed her my booking including breakfast (the room came at an additional charge for breakfast). Her reply? "Other people who paid the same rate as you got breakfast and it shows up on my screen as breakfast included. Yours doesn't, so you will have to pay." I called the booking website who confirmed I did book with breakfast and they called Alexis to tell her I did book the room with breakfast. Alexis confirmed that and said "so do you want your breakfast now?" I said I don't want breakfast anymore but I didn't appreciate the way she spoke to me. I told her she could have told me, have a cup of coffee, try reaching your booking agent to resolve the discrepancy, or even recommended good places to have breakfast, but instead she told me other people paid what I did and got breakfast! I told her that was not good customer service and there's other ways she could have handled the situation without even giving me breakfast (which I had already paid for!) Being nice is free. Alexis told me, she wasn't rude, she won't apologize and I can go ahead and complain to her managers, they will always back her up, she has been here a long time....more rudeness! It was astounding. I paid $324 to be treated horribly. Forget the dark dreary small rooms, forget the 'city view' of another office building looking right at you, forget the uncomfortable bed that had me wake up with back pain in the night. I could have dealt with any of that and not minded, but rudeness is totally uncalled for. I left without breakfast. I just joined Bonvoy but I'll never again stay in this brand of hotels because customer service is their last priority. I typically stay in Hamptons for half the price and get excellent service. Lesson learned.
New and rooms fresh, clean and had all I needed. Nice bar. Food choice could be improved.
Breakfast set up. Plastic covered sparse menus and quality of food not good. For a hotel that is not by any means cheap, a decent breakfast restaurant is I think expected.

We liked the8th floor because of the pool and whirlpool; however, we did not use either because it was a little to cold.
The mouse on the PC was difficult to work with because you had to press hard on the clicker to make it work.
