Element by Marriott Basalt - Aspen

Hotel was clean and spacious, staff were helpful and kind, and the breakfast was very good.

Everything.

Element provides excellent service and a very friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese were a great addition. The property is very eco friendly but will accommodate any needs the guests ask for. Chris the manager is very professional as is the staff. It was the ideal spot for an extended stay. My only concern is that an unleashed dog ran up to my table one morning. It was my understanding that Marriot has a policy that all dogs outside the guests' room must be on a leash at all times.

This hotel is a clean and well maintained property. The room I had was perfect for an extended stay- fridge, microwave, burners, dishwasher. It had a bedroom with a door that closed and a modest sitting area with a couch, work desk, and TV.

The bed was comfortable with nice sheets. The AC worked great. Pillows were fresh.

In the bathroom the towels were soft, water pressure was excellent, and plenty of hot water. The shampoo and soap smelled nice.

There was a small gym that would let you maintain your fitness. There were also laundry facilities. You can walk to Starbucks, Whole Foods, restaurants, etc. There is also an ice cream shop in the corner of the building. The kids love it.

This is an upper end Marriott Select/Longer Stay property.

The location, convenience, cleanliness and staff are all a class act.

Breakfast ends at 09:30 (a bit early) and it is a "Courtyard:" style breakfast.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Kelly Dean, Sales Manager at Element Basalt – Aspen, for the past two years in support of our group, The Snow League, and her professionalism and partnership have been exceptional.

In our first year, we were still finding our footing as an organization, which resulted in frequent changes—often on a weekly basis. Throughout it all, Kelly remained consistently professional, highly responsive, and incredibly accommodating. When additional rooms were needed, she made the process seamless whenever availability allowed. She approached concessions thoughtfully and fairly, ensuring solutions aligned with the needs of both the group and the property. She was always communicative when challenges arose, which made a complex planning environment far more manageable.

In our second year, we formalized our partnership with a contract. As is often the case in live event production, our staffing needs shifted, resulting in a reduction in room nights. We approached Kelly to explore options for adjusting the contract without incurring significant financial penalties. What happened next was something I have rarely, if ever, experienced in my career—she worked with us to effectively reset the agreement, allowing us to restructure based on our updated needs. The hotel adjusted terms in a thoughtful and fair way, modifying only one concession.

That level of flexibility and partnership is extraordinary. Contracts are typically rigid by design, and it is exceedingly rare for a hotel to take such a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach. Kelly’s willingness to advocate for our group and find a path forward speaks volumes about both her professionalism and the values of the property.

Nice new hotel. Very clean. Breakfast was good. No daily parking fees.

We were visiting family in Snowmass for the holidays. This is an excellent location. The corner units are a 1 bedroom with a bath just outside the bedroom so if you have kids sleeping on the pullout couch, they can easily access without having to walk into the bedroom. The was a little road noise from highway 82 but nothing significant, especially at night. Excellent breakfast options. All day coffee and tea provided in lobby. I didn't use the gym on this trip but it looked well appointed for a hotel. Front desk, working on 12/23 and 12/24 was extremely helpful and cheerful despite working the holidays. Hotel is set in an area with many restaurants that you can walk to as well as a whole foods. Will definitely stay there again when in the area.

I stay in hotels frequently and this is by far the cleanest hotel I have ever been in. The breakfast buffet was also incredibly clean and well stocked and managed. Handicapped parking for my mother was right at the side door which was conveniently located and there were plenty of luggage carts in New condition. The shower head was very ample with the water- I'd like one for my house. And the complimentary in room kitchenette was phenomenal. And the staff was quick, courteous, and helpful with everything. Best hotel stay ever.
