Described as a boutique hotel but an apartment
Pros:

The "hotel" is really an apartment with kitchen facilities, its centrally located within walking distance of Independence square, Colombo museum etc. The apartment is perfectly adequate, located above a Subway restaurant, but lacks the hotel features that some may be seeking. A 200 rupee tuk tuk should get you to the fort area for restaurants and bars.

Somewhat noisy but clean room
Pros:

The hotel format is that it has a few rooms for rent and "reception" is managed by a local security guard. Overall the room was clean, it had hot water boiler, tv, blow dryer, and a ceiling fan. The location was ok, especially if you are looking for Western food as it sits above a Subway restaurant (no smells or noises got trough from that), it was some 15-20 minute walk to the Galle Face Green.
