Fantastiskt god mat, men trista containerrum och förfulande ombyggnation.
Pros:

Det bästa med boendet är maten. Restaurangen skulle jag ge toppbetyg - om man bortser från att allt måste beställas minst en timme i förväg.

Cons:

Vid ombyggnation har man valt att smälla upp containerrum. Det må vara praktiskt och säkert billigt att bygga, men det är fult. Även restaurangen hade kunnat byggas för att harmoniera med de ursprungliga byggnaderna. Tyvärr har stället istället förlorat sin charm.

Trotz Bemühungen aller Angestellten eine schnelle Lösung parat zu haben, würde ich keine zweite Nacht mehr kommen.

Cons:

Es ist sehr schmuddelig.
Die Tische kleben, die Tischdeckchen sind klebrig, mein Glas war schmutzig.
Mein Kontainer Stelzenhaus hatte Schimmel im Bad, es roch nach Schimmel.
Die Kornflakes waren alt, das Essen schmeckte fad.

Pros:

I needed to do an emergency booking after my initial "resort" did not honor a reservation. This spot gets mediocre reviews, but I found it great value for money. I "upgraded" to an a/c bungalow, which is a small container but well formed and outfitted. Excellent for a night or two. I "splurged" on the crab curry in the restaurant, and it was excellent. Great value for money all around. My 5am tuk-tuk to the train station was ordered and waiting.

Cons:

The "resort" is sprawling and the accommodation types can be confusing. You can easily walk to the beach, but the sunset over the lagoon and the bridge is special.

Wonderful view of the lagoon, huge pool, very friendly staff
Pros:

The check-in was quick and easy. Moreover, the whole staff - especially the manager - was very friendly and helpful.

Our room was quite small, but okay for sleeping. We stayed in a hut with a communal "living room area" incl. sofas that made a pleasant stay.

There are different kinds of rooms / accommodation available at this resort. A lot of them have a porch with a view to the lagoon.

We absolutely loved the huge pool surrounded by palm trees and with good views of the lagoon. Watching the sunset from the pool is amazing!

Additionally, there is a big modern restaurant with a wide range of food and drinks on offer. We really enjoyed the fresh juices and tasty dinner. - Some reviews refer to the long period to prepare the food (1.5 hours). As all food is freshly prepared, it takes some time. Our dinner was ready in a shorter period of time. An option might be to preorder your food.

Cons:

The only negative aspect was the lack of wifi. It is available in the reception and the restaurant. The manager promised that someone will install a router in our hut. But this did not happen.

Wunderbar, immer wieder gerne
Pros:

Die Lage ist wunderschön und ruhig gelegen. Die Außenanlagen herrlich und so schön grün. Uns hat es wirklich gut gefallen und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Good value and would stay again but check on site where allocated first.
Pros:

Nice coconut farm right on the lagoon with rooms and huts spaced in the tropical grounds. Perfect location, shops 10-15 minute walk, beach 20 minutes.
Stayed in wooden hut, great bed, excellent mosquito net and has on site restaurant bar with wide menu.

Cons:

They were building 2 new huts next to me and building works with angle grinders and drill all day, but i was out all day, so only had the first thing and early evening noise.
Food in restaurant nice but took an hour to arrive, stone cold, drinks warm.

Pros:

Das parkähnliche Gelände mit Pool ist toll.
Die Containerhäuser sind nicht gross, wir haben aber gut geschlafen. Man sollte gutes Mückenmitteund Rauchstäbchen gegen Mücken dabei haben wenn man draussen sitzen möchte.
Das Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet.

Pros:

Accueille chaleureux, de très bon conseils, n’hésitez pas.
Le Lieu est magnifique, les pieds dans le sable . Et Je vous conseille le safari sur un radeau, moins cher et très agréable, (eléphants crocodiles … ) demandez lui. On le recommande 100fois.

Two nights in Batti
Pros:

We absolutely loved the atmosphere and the surroundings. We stayed in a well equipped tree bungalow just a few meters from the lagoon. Loved walking on wood. The food was really tasty and it was really nice being able to sit outside the bar as it was really ”cool off- season days”. The staff was really hospitable and welcoming. Good location within walking distance to ”everything”. We walked everywhere around Batti.
